Staying at Ocean Pearl Maldives was short but truly memorable. Although we only had one day to enjoy Gulhi Island, the staff's warmth and attentiveness made every moment count. They knew it was my birthday and went out of their way to make it special, decorating our bed with fresh flowers and even suggesting a birthday cake (which we paid for ourselves, but the thoughtful gesture was appreciated nonetheless). It was a lovely surprise and added a personal touch to the stay. The property itself is clean, comfortable, and just a quick walk from the stunning Bikini Beach. The water was crystal clear, and the beach was peaceful, perfect for a relaxing afternoon.

I had a relaxing stay at Ocean Pearl Maldives, located on the peaceful island of Gulhi. The hotel is clean, the upstairs rooms are cozy, and the atmosphere is warm and welcoming. Gulhi is much quieter and less touristy than Maafushi, making it a great choice for travelers seeking tranquility. However, one thing to be aware of: the owner (who manages the hotel on his own) strongly insists on card payment, and the exchange rate applied is quite high and non-negotiable. This lack of flexibility can be frustrating, especially for budget-conscious travelers. Aside from that, it’s a lovely place to unwind if you know what to expect.
