Spacious New Construction Cottage

Make this personal beach cottage yours for a private getaway with family or friends. This cottage was just built, everything is clean and fresh. It has 3 bedrooms, 4 baths sleeps and sleeps 10. Pura Vida is 1440 sqft of well thought out space, plenty of room for a large group, and never feels cramped. The beach is just a short walk across the street and if you prefer a calmer body of water Little Lagoon has a large beach just down the boardwalk. Enjoy fishing??? There is a fishing pier on the boardwalk just behind the cottage. You can easily park 4 vehicles on the ground level, so invite your friends to come to visit during your stay. There are lots of activities available from biking, fishing, shopping, kayaking parasailing and much more.

We were under the impression it was 4 bedrooms bc the layout of where you sleep shows 1 king room, 1 queen, 1 queen, and 1 bunk room. It literally says bedroom 4. We made it work but need to be more specific that the 4th bedroom is the living room and its a couch bed not a bed. If it was a couple planning to stay in there i dont think they would be happy to be sleeping in the living room.

Perfect family beach trip!

We all agreed that this home was perfect for us. We traveled with 3 younger children and the location, pool and the home itself exceeded our expectations. The home was clean and very comfortable, with a very helpful host! We would definitely stay here again!

We love this area, it's on the main drag but also a quiet area. Not far from entertainment & restaurants. Easy walking to the beach & the walking path is right behind the facility. We would definitely recommend West side cottages.

Great location

We really enjoyed our trip. Cottage was well located. Easy access to beach and boardwalks for fishing. We were able to ride our bikes safely to the center of Gulf Shores. Only downside was no beach supplies for our use. Could use a new grill, toaster wasn’t working properly and missing some light bulbs. Advised David of these issues but we’re not resolved during our stay.

GREAT Stay Here

This is our second time booking this location and it has been flawless both times. We enjoy the convenience of having 3 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms. The beach is a short walk right across the street. The host is excellent at communicating. We had a hurricane pass through our hometown on the night we were supposed to arrive there, and he was extremely understanding of the circumstances we were facing. We will definitely be rebooking!

Gulf Shores 2024

We enjoyed our stay here. The location was pretty good, with access to the beach and the Little Lagoon in walking distance. For the most part it was a pretty good stay we just had a few hiccups- there was not a ladder for the top bunk so someone had to sleep on the couch (n it the pul out part), the pool was closed a whole day due to cleaning but no signs were posted, and it is one of the least stocked places we have ever rented from- no beach towels (we were informed of this but after we already left for the long drive) or things to use at the pool/beach, only one dish rag and two towels in the kitchen, toaster only worked sometime. We were just used to past rentals having more stocked for guests.

Great stay for baseball!

Property was perfect for our baseball tourney in Foley and Gulf Shores! Our family of 6 had plenty of room, and the 4 full baths were a huge plus. Pathway behind the complex was great for walks with a lagoon view, and path to the beach across the street or under bridge was an easy walk. There are also lagoon views from the unit that are not advertised. Unit located around mostly houses, so not dealing with the crowds of the high rises. Great stay, and would recommend!

Beautiful place

This is a beautiful newly built home that was plenty big enough for my family of 3 adults and 3 teenagers. The beach is right across the street and the lagoon is right behind the house. Couldn’t have asked for a more better set up than this. We will definitely stay here again!
