This hotel is in need of updating. considering its prime location, an investment in much needed repairs should be done to make this a nice place.

I mean for one night it’s cool. But the sheets were dirty. Had peoples hair all over them and the bathroom towels. My wife actually went to their laundry room and grabbed sheets from their dryer to make sure they were actually clean, still had hair all over them. Desk lady said ppl come and ask for new sheets every night….maybe that should tell the owner something. Idk I didn’t expect much from a motel 6 but it being that close to the beach should have been better and especially for $106 and then went up to $197 for Friday night. I’d say do better but again it’s a motel 6. Get what you get I guess. But we paid over $100. So yeah do better! Location was great tho! Will definitely pick somewhere else next time even if it means paying a little extra!

Very sparcely furnished. No place to put your clothes in bath. Door to bath would not close. No place to sit. Room was large, but not furnished.

The only positive was they did a good job cleaning the room. However, the beds were incredibly uncomfortable, the shower did not work in our rooms, TV reception was horrid, and I had to get my key card reset twice on a 2 night stay because it didn't work. We will not be staying there again.

Room was outdated and not the cleanest. Headboard had paint chipping. Curtains had paint splattered on them. Bathroom sink wasn’t wiped down good. There were crusties behind the faucet. There was hair on the towels. The pictures online made it look much nicer. The beds were small, more like a full, not a queen. Teenagers were running up and down the stairs all night, still going at 4am when we left.

This was not just awesome for a Motel 6 this Motel 6 was incredible in every category overall just for a motel or hotel I stay there every single time I go to Gulf Shores

Bed was terrible. Wasn’t able to rest. Was up most of the night. The toilet flushed weird because the water was constantly running. The air conditioner unit in the wall was really loud when I came on, Scared my boyfriend in the middle of the night and woke him up.

I arrived in town late in the afternoon. I looked up cheap hotel deals and found the Motel 6 in Gulf Shores. Clean, comfortable room and a budget price. It was just what I needed.

Staff was great, room could use some TLC

The stay was great, quiet and affordable. The room was certainly older but in ok condition. There were stains/spots near one of the beds on the floor. Under the edge of the nightstand. The water was hot and the water pressure was good. The fridge in the room did not keep food cold though so it either needs repair or replacement. I will say though that the service we got at the front desk was SUPER, everyone we interacted with was friendly and attentive. Which made the stay much better, even with the few issues in the room itself.

Waited 10 minutes for anyone to come to the front desk and help us. Not even exaggerating. Was able to check in a little early so that was nice. Being charged the same for a downgraded room, not so nice. Room smelled terrible. Like mold and Marijuana. Towels were stained. Bathroom light didn't automatically come on. There was one time it took close to an hour to turn on. The people above us were pretty loud at random times of the night which was pretty distracting. I wouldn't say it's the worst place but for the price I wouldn't say its worth it.
