Wonderful location in delightful southern Brittany

This was a delightful cottage complex with a secluded out door space and great covered pool. The cottage was spotless with a well equipped kitchen. We were received with a very warm welcome from the owners, Jean-Pierre and Joelle, who also very kindly stocked the kitchen with a few first day essentials. While the owners live nearby they were never intrusive and always made themselves available to answer any questions we had. The pool is shared with the next door cottage but this was never a problem and we frequently swam at the fantastic spacious beach which was only 15 minutes walk along a rural public footpath. We had no preconceived ideas about Guilvinec. We were delighted to find that it hosted an excellent twice weekly market together with a selection of excellent fishmongers and first rate, very friendly, restaurants. The area has an extensive next work of footpaths and cycle paths. In fact we only used the car when venturing further afield to Quimper and Concarneau. Overall a genuine five star experience.

Lovely villa and location

Good facilities and great swimming pool. Location was quiet and relaxing. Close to beach and cycle paths. Shared pool. Spiral staircase inside villa to top floor. Table tennis and chickens were enjoyed by the kids. Outside table for eating al fresco was used every night. Jean-pierre and his wife were so welcoming and friendly. Even though our French was limited we managed to communicate well.

Perfectly lovely cottage.

We arrived at this lovely property after an eight hour drive from SW France. Jean Pierre and Joelle greeted us and showed us around. The cottage was clean and delightfully furnished in a traditional manner. We had a few goodies awaiting us too. The beds were comfortable, we had everything we could wish for and the pool was fun. It was a 10 minute walk to the closest beach which was beautiful and there was plenty in the local area to keep us and our 10 year old occupied. Thank you for an excellent stay

Wir haben einen schönen Urlaub in der Bretagne verbracht. Das Ferienhaus ist ein tradtionell eingerichtetes Steinhaus mit niedrigen Decken und in schönem blau gestrichenen Holzbalken. Man hatte bei jedem Wetter einen angenehmen Aufenthalt auf der überdachten Holzterrasse. Die direkt nebem dem Ferienhaus wohnenden Vermieter waren sehr freundlich und sehr zuvorkommend. Den Pool teilt man sich mit einem anderen Ferienhaus. Den Pool haben wir alledings selten genutzt, da das Wetter auch strandtauglich war. Durch die Überdachung konnte man aber auch abends, wenn es schon kühler war, kurz noch ein Bad genießen.

Un séjour parfait !

Il faudrait être difficile pour ne pas apprécier cette location . Une semaine ensoleillée ( 10 au 17 juin ) qui nous a permis d'apprécier le cadre ( belle construction , jardin , piscine ) , le calme ( aucun bruit la nuit !) , la proximité de la mer et du village ( 15 min à pied environ) . La région est superbe et se visite facilement, grâce à ses pistes cyclables ( peu de côtes !): Pen'march , Loctudy , Lesconil , etc . Nous remercions les propriétaires très sympathiques et attentionnés . Un plus : au cours de notre séjour ,deux petits poussins sont nés !

C'était parfait !!!

Nous avons eu des propriétaires formidables : Discrets et très attentionnés. Leurs logements sont coquets et très bien entretenus, rien n'y manque, on se sent vraiment bien chez soi. L'endroit est calme et tel que nous l'imaginions. Adresse à retenir et à transmettre.

Tolle Unterkunft in Guilvinec! Sehr nette Vermieter. Wunderschönes Häuser Ensemble. Sehr ruhige Lage, Entspannung pur. Für Einkäufe braucht es ein Auto oder ein Fahrrad. Bis La Torche sind es etwa 10-15 Minuten mit dem Auto.

Superbe endroit, jolie maison avec dépendance idéale pour présence de plusieurs familles, très proche de l'océan via un joli chemin sécure, belle piscine intérieure pour les jours de pluie, les propriétaires nous ont bcp aidé pour notre arrivée depuis Quimper avec bébé de 3 semaines :-) Merci encore

Excellent séjour en famille.
