Away from mass tourism, in a quiet rural area, you find this top-class detached holiday cottage for up to four persons. From the terraces and your vantage point you can enjoy the stunning sea view up to the neighbouring islands of La Gomera and La Palma.
Your holiday residence is embedded in our three hectare Finca; it is situated on its own separate piece of land measuring some 2,000 m². The outside area features a barbecue, a comfortable seating corner and a very beautiful view of the fascinating surroundings. On the spacious terrace you can watch spectacular sunsets, either on the sea or the neighbouring islands, depending on the season.
The detached cottage Casa Isabel measures 122 m² of living space with a fully equipped kitchen complete with fridge/freezer, gas cooker, oven, toaster, microwave and coffee machine. Right next to the kitchen you can have your meals while enjoying the sea view. Take a seat on the comfortable sofa in the living area, read a book, listen to music in 3.1-sound or watch a good movie on the state-of-the-art LED flat screen television – either taking advantage of the satellite facility or your personal media brought from home. The bedrooms are bright and benefit from the light colours and modern furniture; inviting our guests to a special sense of wellbeing. Each bedroom is complete with its own bathroom; each bathroom boasts a spacious shower, large storage wash basin and a toilet. One of the bed-/bathrooms is handicapped accessible. The beds measure 1,80 x 2,00 m and 1,60 x 2,00 m. If only up to two guests are staying, only one bedroom is made available. Should you wish for separate bedrooms, it is absolutely necessary that you do talk to us before.
Here, in Tenerife’s west and above the coastal town of Los Gigantes and Playa de la Arena the sun really does shine 350 days a year. Look forward to this very quiet location and the adjacent nature reserve, located only 430 metres above sea level. Spend an unclouded holiday under fabulous sunny skies, even in winter. It is only 3 kilometres to the neighbouring village of Chío, close enough to be reached with a comfortable walk. The nearest sand beach, Play de la Arena, is a 10 minutes’ car drive away. With its very fine and, for the island typical, black sand and its very clear and clean water this is one of Tenerife’s most beautiful beaches. The nearby villages of Los Gigantes and Alcalá boast small romantic bays.
We share our Finca with Lily, our dog – guarded by him and the gateways you can feel safe during your stay here. Water supply is of the highest quality from the deep well in the neighbourhood; electricity supply is solar-based. On the very few rainy days, and particularly during the winter months, there can be a shortage of supply; if this is the case, a diesel-driven generator will provide electricity supply. The landlord cultivates wine, fruits, vegetables and spices for the house’s own use in his garden. If you like, you can buy these fresh and ecologically sound products. Free of charge internet access is available via LAN or WLAN and part of fair usage. During the cold season you benefit from use of a fireplace. Extra charges for fire place fuels are based on usage and are subject to previous agreement with the landlord.
