The hotel itself was great - large, spacious rooms, including a full soaking tub and huge shower, very clean and comfortable room. We had a small balcony to enjoy the views. Staff was very nice and helpful. Only a 5 minute walk to the Bastille where we enjoyed riding the cable cars up the mountain for an amazing view. However, the immediate area outside the hotel and throughout the city, we did not feel safe - even in the daytime. Do you research on crime and the sections to avoid. We made the mistake of walking from the train station to the hotel, but took an uber on the way back because we did not want to venture out, It's a shame because this city has so much potential. Even in the local coffee shop, there are signs on the table inside to be aware of pickpockets.

Great hotel - great experience

Beautiful room with king-sized bed, deep soak bath, and walk-in rainfall shower. The front desk staff is extraordinarily warm and welcoming. Tracy, Wendy, and Justin just enhanced the luxury experience with their warmth and professionalism!

We had three wonderful days in the hotel. The breakfast was high quality and variety. The room was spacious. The front desk staff was exceptional. The best in Best Western

Wonderful hotel. The bed was exceptionally comfortable. The shower had strong water pressure and lots of hot water. My room had the large deep soak bathtub. The staff members were welcoming and helpful, always greeting me whether I was leaving or returning. Tracey, Camille, and Bia are such assets to the hotel. They make you feel like a special guest.

Bed uneven (one side was well used, the other, firm). Sink drains oddly. Unclear that minibar (water and juice) was not complimentary. Good location in downtown.
