"After checking in and picking up our keys, we parked near our room. While unloading our luggage, we were greeted by a couple in the parking lot who appeared to be having a full-on party beside their car—lawn chairs, drinks, and all. The room itself looked like the photos, but what the pictures didn’t show was the slick, oily sheen on the faux‑wood linoleum floor. It was so slippery that I didn’t feel comfortable walking on it without shoes. Several dead bugs were in the corners—between the nightstand and the front curtain, and near the air conditioner. On top of that, we found two live beetle‑type insects when we pulled back the sheets. The toilet only flushed if you held the handle down for about ten seconds. The property advertises free WiFi, but the free tier is an unsecured public network that requires you to agree that the hotel isn’t responsible if your information gets compromised. Based on the condition of the property I was not willing to take a chance. We returned our keys to the front desk roughly two hours after arriving and chose to stay elsewhere, paying an extra $30 per night. Even though we forfeited the two prepaid nights, we simply could not stay at this property."
