We received a very warm welcome from Mark, our room was very comfortable and clean. We had only booked dinner for our first night, but we enjoyed it so much, that we booked in for our second night also. If you're looking for a non-chain accommodation and a local experience, I highly recommend this hotel. The hotel is suitable for those looking for a good base point to travel around the area. The room was very clean and the staff very helpful and friendly. Food in the restaurant was delicious! For some reason, many of the places we stayed (including this one) did not provide conditioner. Not a huge deal, but thought I’d note for future guests. It is a cute small town and convenient to hiking destinations. Also note there is not central air and the windows do not open more than a few inches, so on hot days, the room gets very stuffy. Not the fault of the hotel, though!
