Property was well designed and furnished with sturdy pieces. Bedding was comfortable and kitchen was well appointed. There were two choices of “fire pit” with a regular stone surround for real firewood and also a smaller propane fire pit with extra propane bottles available. Loved the stay!

Great Weekend

We were in town for a baseball tournament and had a lot of downtime with three teenagers. Everything was perfect. Great clean spacious house with room for everyone to spread out. Lots of activities for kids to do on property. Very relaxing for the adults. We would definitely stay here again.

Family at Smoky Hill Ranch

It was a great place for kids ages 2 to 10! Lots to do ( fishing, kayaking on small pond on property,Pickle ball, basketball, frisbee, whiffle ball, s’mores on gas fire pit out back. ) Had a well appointed kitchen, comfy beds. We visited Dinosaur World which was lots of fun. Chandler, our host, responded immediately to our call for additional towels/ sheets. We’ll stay here again!

Easter weekend

Wonderful Easter weekend with family. Smoky Hill Ranch property is the best all around with plenty of acres to roam. The kids fished, played on the sport court and hunted Easter eggs. It was our third year to stay at Smoky Hill and we will be back! Chandler is the very best house manager!

Beautiful property

We had a 80th bday party for my father in law this past weekend at this house and it was a wonderful trip. Clean, conveniently located, quiet and the young adults loved the fire pits. I would recommend this place for any type of group gathering.

Annual Family Birthday Celebration

It was our second year and we loved it as much as we did the first time we stayed! The grandkids loved fishing and yes catching fish!! They were perfect for them fishing…they caught one just about every time they casted their line. Pickle ball and basketball was played again…and of course we have to have a campfire and make s’mores❣️

Perfect for large groups

This is the nicest rental property we have chosen for our large family's annual reunions. It has all the amenities and more (basketball court, pickleball, kids play slide, grill, fishing) etc. The basic amenities like beds and towels and TVs were very nice as well. The host was responsible and check in and out was a breeze. We will definitely be back!

Great spot for groups/families

We stayed over the weekend for a bachelor party/weekend. The place was perfect for our group with the available activities and amenities. The 8 acres feels very private and secluded, but the property is close enough to town that everything is easy to get to. We have started discussing a return trip with our families. This is a great spot I highly recommend.

Friends Summer Getaway

This property is great for a mini reunion with friends. It has so much to offer with a sports court, pond, and great yard space for waterslide fun! Our host was great at answering questions leading up to our stay as well as helping with an issue which came up during our stay!

Fantastic place to stay!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The listing is everything is says and more! Lots of activities to do and a beautiful setting for photos. Very clean, comfy beds, and all the amenities you can think of. We were missing dish towels and really wanted a card table to do a jigsaw puzzle on- requested from Chandler and she delivered both right away... excellent customer service!!! I can't recommend this place enough!

Fabulous place and host for large gatherings

We booked this place for a family reunion this summer. It was perfect. The host was open, receptive and responsive to all our needs. One minor issue was addressed immediately. The rooms are large and comfortable. the kitchen handles large family meals (2 refrigerators) or snacks equally well. The fishing pond was a huge hit for the families. Alot of fish and easily accessible. The sports court (pickle ball, basket ball...) was great and event the grilling was clean and ready for use. the location is close enough to town for local entertainment but far enough out that you feel as isolated as you'd like. All agreed that they would like to rebook this for the next reunion.

Wonderful

This is an amazing place! The main house was wonderful, the bunk house was not too close and not too far away. The kitchen is well equipped. The sport court was GREAT. The proximity to Grandbury was an added bonus. The children loved to pond and the paddleboat. Highly recommend. Reasonably priced. 5 STARS.

Family Getaway

I can not express how wonderful this property was for our family. We never left the property with so many things to do for every age. A pond for fishing, swimming, paddle boating. A basketball court/pickle ball. Which can I just say our family learned how to play pickle ball and fell in love with the sport. Had tournaments all weekend. Picnic tables and fire pits. We sat outside roasting s’mores and singing by the fire. It was just the Best place and time had by all. The kitchen was fully supplied. And the house was just Beautiful. No words to describe how perfect this place is from top to bottom. The owners responded to every question within minutes. And was a joy to work with. We are so blessed to have found this place and grateful for the sweet family for sharing it with us.

BEST VRBO HOME WE’VE EVER STAYED IN

We had the most amazing Easter weekend at Smokey Hill Ranch. Our kids loved fishing and paddle boating in the pond and playing basketball on the sports court. The house has absolutely everything you need with lots of space to spread out. We will be back for sure! Thank you Chandler for everything.
