Harbourside house with private pool - amazing sea views!

Cornerwall House is a delightfully charming 3 bedroom, 3.5 bath house, that is situated right on the bay of Governor's Harbour. Built in 1905 as a ship captain’s home, Cornerwall has recently undergone a complete renovation. It now offers all of the modern comforts and amenities visitors look for in a vacation rental, yet still maintains its historic architectural charm.

The space
Cornerwall's spectacular harbour view can be appreciated from within most of the house. The property's three bedrooms are on the second floor, each opening onto a balcony and the mesmerizing sea views beyond. Each bedroom has a luxurious en-suite bath finished in coral stone. Two of the bedroom suites have king beds and the third has a queen.

On the ground floor, there is an open-plan living room with two separate sitting areas, a full kitchen, and a dining area. The living room opens onto a beautiful pool and sun deck, with lounge chairs where you can lay and watch the sailboats passing by. Pool heating during the winter months can be added for $300 per week. Please ask if you would like this to be added to your reservation.

Cornerwall is conveniently close to the main hub of Governor's Harbour. There are two supermarkets, several restaurants & a great little coffee shop, gift shops, and two banks (with Atm services) nearby.

If you require any concierge services, we are more than happy to assist. These include provisioning for groceries and alcohol prior to arrival, airport pick up/drop off, car rental, chef services, spa services, etc. Simply contact us with any queries you may have.

At Squires Estate, your well-being is our top priority. We are taking the Covid-19 virus very seriously and want to ensure your comfort and safety when booking any one of our properties. We have recently amended our cancellation policy to "Moderate", which allows cancellation without penalty, any time up to 5 days ahead of your arrival. Three brothers and our wives stayed at the Cornerwall house at Squires estates. We loved the location, the view of the harbor, sunsets and moonrises! 3 bedrooms with private baths and a private pool! Patrick and the team are wonderful and helped make our trip flawless. I would highly recommend the house!

I would recommend this house for a great central location on the island. We mainly drove to new beaches each day so it was perfect. They had all the equipment to take to the remote beaches. Needed Tupperware containers though. And be prepared to buy ice… no ice maker. Hosts were great and house was lovely. Within walking distance to anything we needed

Perfect!!

We absolutely loved our stay in Governor’s Harbor! The property was perfect for our family. Plenty of space, clean and equipped for our needs. The pool is wonderful to have especially with younger boys who never run out of energy. The only thing we really wished we had was a TV in the master room. Other than that the property was great and the manager was very attentive and answered questions immediately.

Perfect stay!

Great house for a family - kids loved the pool and the house has all the comforts of home. Loved being able to get to the beach’s super quick (French Leave or Alabaster Bay or Ten Bay all within a 10-15 min drive)! Very convenient location that is close enough to walk to restaurants as well as grocery stores. Highly recommend!

Everything was exactly how it was represented, They supplied beach towels beach chairs there is a coffee shop 100 yards away great restaurants within 5 to 10 minutes and beautiful beaches in every direction!

Perfect Stay

Six of us did a girls' trip and stayed at the Cornerwall House. It was just as pictured and maybe even better! Joy and Dom were super helpful and stocked the house with essentials we may need and the kitchen has every utensil or gadget imaginable. They also provided a thorough list of activities and restaurants ahead of time and Dom reiterated his favorites again when he met us in person. While the house is within walking distance to restaurants and shops, I do recommend renting a car to get to other beaches or restaurants around the island. We will definitely be back for another visit soon! Thank you again Joy and Dom!

Great Location and Beautiful House

This house overlooks Governor's Harbour. The house and landscaping were great. Patrick, Dom and Joy were also great to help us with anything we needed while we were there. They live in town and were fast to respond. The house has recently been removed and everything looks brand new, including the pool. It comfortably held the six of us for a week. If you're staying in Governor's Harbour, it's an ideal location. It's only a block to the grocery store, gas station and the main restaurant (Buccaneer's) in town. We went paddle boarding in the harbor in front of the house one day. French Leave beach is also very close. We walked one there day and drove another. There is also a community "fish fry" on Friday nights right on the water within walking distance to the house. We met local residents and it was lots of fun. All-in-all, this was a fantastic place to stay with all the comforts of home.

This place is truly amazing!

My friends and I had never been to Eleuthera and decided to get away for a long weekend. We chose this property blindly and could not have asked for a better experience. Being newly renovated, the house is immaculate, the appliances are all brand new, and the beds are all very comfortable. The decor is simple yet modern. The property managers went above and beyond to make sure we had a great stay. They provided us with beach chairs, umbrellas, and a cooler and stocked the refrigerator with some local treats. Joy and Dom were always available when we had any questions and helped us with anything we needed. Joy even helped me arrange transportation and an adventure tour before the trip. If you are looking for a relaxing vacation in one of the most beautiful places on earth, look no further... this is the place.
