type of building: Multiple-family dwelling. size of property: 400m². The fully equipped holiday flat "Kinas Altstadt-Suite DG" is situated in a quiet location on the edge of the old town. The market square is just a few minutes' walk away. On the way there you will discover great churches and sights that tell over 1100 years of history. To pass the time, you will also find shopping facilities, a cinema, bars, restaurants and everything else almost on your doorstep. The railway station is only 15 minutes away (on foot). The famous imperial palace is also only 500 metres away and can be easily reached on foot. Goslar is the perfect starting point for hikers and offers many great hiking trails with lots of greenery and fantastic views.
The holiday flat was completely renovated and refurnished in 2021. From November the flat is now ready for rent and enchants with its new splendour. The living area offers a cosy ambience. A flat screen TV (satellite) provides the entertainment programme. The kitchen is fully equipped with dishwasher, fridge-freezer, oven, ceramic hob, extractor bonnet, coffee machine, toaster, tea maker and crockery for 12 people. The bathroom is modern and comfortably equipped with a shower cubicle, bathroom furniture with LED mirror, a hairdryer and heated towel rail. There is also a footrest for the washbasin for our younger guests. The first bedroom is furnished with a 180cm box-spring bed and a wardrobe. A topper ensures a good night's sleep. Bedroom two also has a large wardrobe with a full-length mirror and two box-spring beds with toppers (total size per bed 90cm) = the beds can also be pushed together to create a sleeping area of 180cm. Bedroom 3 is located in the converted attic. There are also two box-spring beds with toppers (total size per bed 90cm). An extra bed for a 7th person could be added here on request. A walk-in wardrobe offers enough storage space for clothes. In the backyard you will find two cosy, covered seating areas and a barbecue area with an electric grill. The seating areas are freely available to all guests of the house. In a separate room there is a table football table, which may also be used by all guests in the house. There is no parking space in the courtyard. It is possible to park briefly in front of the house to unload your suitcases. Public parking is available in the immediate vicinity. One street further on there is a free car park for 3 hours. Otherwise you can park in the entire old town from 9 am to 6 pm for fifty cents per hour. From 6 - 9 pm parking is free of charge. There is a large public car park with free parking approx. 600m from the property. You can park your car there permanently. As you live in the centre of the old town and can easily reach everything on foot, you are not dependent on a car.
There is also a WC room with a washing machine/dryer in the courtyard for all guests to use.
The façade of the house is a listed building and shows the flair of the old town from the outside. In the flat we have tried to combine old, modern and luxurious.
Goslar has 1100 years of history and is full of sights in the immediate vicinity. The old town of Goslar and the former Rammelsberg ore mine on the southern edge of the town have been UNESCO World Heritage Sites since 1992 under the name of the Rammelsberg mine and the old town of Goslar. You can explore Goslar on foot or take the funicular railway. The tourist centre is located in the middle of the market square (approx. 350m), from where you can book many activities. There is also a lot on offer outside Goslar. A trip to Hahnenklee, Brocken, Torfhaus, Bad Harzburg, Altenau,... not only offer many great impressions for hikers, but also plenty of opportunities for adrenalin junkies. Goslar and the surrounding area offer a great holiday at any time of the year - at Christmas time the famous Christmas market - in winter the white Harz with great winter sports offers - in spring, summer and autumn a beautiful landscape with many sports activities for young and old - and a lot of history excursion possibilities: Brocken, ski and hiking areas, cable cars, summer toboggan run, the longest suspension bridge of its kind in Germany, Hahnenklee bike park, Rammelsberg World Heritage Mine, stalactite cave, old town with churches, museums and castles, aviation museum and miniature museum in Wernigerode, and much more. The picturesque alleyways and squares offer plenty of space to stroll, linger, shop, enjoy and relax. Tolle Unterkunft mit guter Lage zum historischen Marktplatz und den umliegenden Restaurants.Sehr sauber, zudem modern ausgestattet und mit wirklich bequemen Boxspringbetten. Die Gastgeber sind sehr freundlich und begrüßen jeden Gast persönlich.Absolut empfehlenswert, insbesondere für Familien, da genug Schlafmöglichkeiten vorhanden sind.

Wir haben den Aufenthalt sehr genossen. Der Empfang von Frau Kinas war sehr freundlich. Die Einweisung in die relevanten Funktionen der Wohnung Innung und Gegenstände war sehr gut. Allerdings waren waren wir über die Lage der Wohnung überrascht. Auf der Internetseite wurde nicht erwähnt, dass die Wohnung in der 3.etage liegt. Es waren 2 angeschlagene Personen dabei, denen die vielen Stufen zu schaffen machten. Hier vielleicht die Internetpräsenz nachbessern.

Entspannt und stilvoll im Herzen Goslars
In der frisch renovierten Ferienwohnung kann man sich nur wohl fühlen! Durch die gut isolierten Fenster schläft man entspannt, was durch Goslar‘s Kopfsteinpflasterstraßen nicht selbstverständlich ist.
Einziges Manko ist, dass es nur ein Badezimmer gibt, aber das kann man ja planen/absprechen.
Personen mit Mobilitätseinschränkungen sollten beachten, dass die Wohnung im 3./4. Stock liegt, und über die in Goslar üblichen steilen Holztreppen zu erreichen ist. Ein Schlafzimmer ist über eine weitere Treppe zu erreichen, auf der große Personen vorsichtig sein sollten.
Wer vor hat zu kochen sollte sich entsprechend mit Gewürzen sowie Salz für das Frühstücksei und Zucker für den Kaffee eindecken.
