Cottage on the Causse Mejean

Single storey terraced house of 90m2, in a hamlet with two farms 12km from Florac
The gîte is located on the Causse Méjean plateau at the crossroads of the Tarn gorges, the Cévennes and Mont Lozere; Region classified as World Heritage by UNESCO. A deposit of 200 € is requested on arrival (returned on departure)
Optional cleaning fee: 60 €
It includes a large kitchen with fridge, freezer, microwave oven, dishwasher and small household appliances.
A living room with convertible sofa (2 sleeps) television.

Peaceful location and well equipped property

This is a quiet and tranquil location that is great for wildlife and walking and relaxation. Florac is about 20 minutes drive away which is a fine market town. Brigitte was a very helpful and professional host who tolerated my terrible French. We really enjoyed our week here.

Perfekte Unterkunft

Wir waren mit unserem Aufenthalt diesem Ferienhaus rundum sehr zufrieden. Die Gastgeberin hat uns sehr herzlich empfangen und uns super Tipps für Ausflüge und Wanderungen gegeben. Auch die Infos zur Anreise waren sehr hilfreich. Das Haus ist perfekt ausgestattet und bietet sehr viel Platz (2 Schlafzimmer, 2 Toiletten/Bäder, WLAN und einen schönen Außenbereich mit Gartenmöbeln, Grill etc.). Wir können die Unterkunft sehr empfehlen und würden diese jederzeit wieder mieten.

Sehr geräumiges, gemütliches Und sehr gut ausgestattetes Ferienhaus in absolut ruhiger Lage

Wir haben äußerst angenehme Tage in der Abgeschiedenheit eines kleinen Weilers verbracht. Das Haus bot alles, was man zum Wohlbefinden braucht. Angesichts niedriger Außentemperaturen haben wir besonders den sehr effektiven Ofen geschätzt. Brigitte war eine freundliche und sehr um unser Wohl bemühte Gastgeberin

Très belle maison de pierre. Brigitte est une hôte très agréable et hyper réactive. Votre séjour sera parfait même en cas de petits pépins. Nous n'avons pas pu profiter très longtemps de la belle terrasse et du jardin à cause de la météo mais nous avons apprécié le matériel mis à disposition. La cuisine est également très bien équipée. Le poêle à granulés...en juin...Nous a été très utile aussi ! Et nous avons apprécié les moustiquaires sur chaques fenêtres. Literie confortable. Nous avons très bien dormi. Brigitte nous mets à disposition des cartes et pleins d'infos pour découvrir les Causses et Tarn. Nous avons passé un séjour dans la tranquillité. Merci Brigitte

Gite très agréable; spacieux, il ne manque rien... Accueil très sympathique; de bons conseils pour découvrir cette très belle région dans un rayon de 10 à 30 km; les causses sont vraiment des lieux de ressourcements et de plénitude...(n'oubliez pas d'emporter de l'eau pour vous hydrater lors des randonnées) .. Les gorges de la Jonte spectaculaires (prévoir des bonnes chaussures de marche) Le mont Aigoual ..etc... Merci encore pour le cadeau de bienvenue. A BIENTOT.

Un séjour magnifique

Un accueil chaleureux et souriant de la part de notre hôte, des conseils avisés pour nos visites prévues et randonnées ! La maison est très bien équipée et l'espace est largement suffisant pour notre famille. Le calme est appreciable sur le Causse. En bref, un très bel endroit, de très belles choses à decouvrir (beaucoup moins de monde en avril aussi - visite en VIP de l'abîme et descente en barque seuls sur le Tarn !!), des gens fort sympathiques, nous avons vraiment apprécié. Nous recommandons vivement ce gîte. PS : sans oublier la gastronomie locale... !

Tolle einsame Lage!

Das Haus von Brigitte ist super und auch sehr gut ausgestattet! Es ist wirklich alles vorhanden, um selbst zu kochen. Wir haben uns wirklich sehr wohl gefühlt. Brigitte ist sehr hilfsbereit und immer zu erreichen. Die Matratzen fanden wir zu hart, aber das ist Geschmackssache. Dass in der Nachbarschaft gerade ein Haus gebaut wurde, war natürlich schade für uns, aber Brigitte konnte für diese Umstände natürlich nichts. Ohne die Baustelle wäre der Aufenthalt komplett perfekt gewesen. Aber auch so ist das Haus wirklich super!

Séjour sur le causse Méjean

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour dans une magnifique région. Le gite est spacieux et bien équipé. Il est très isolé comme nous le recherchions tout en permettant de facilement parcourir les gorges du Tarn et de la Jonte et tous les alentours. Il est idéal pour les familles. La propriétaire est très disponible.

Superbe région, très chouette gîte

Nous avons passé une très bonne semaine dans le gîte de Brigitte, qui nous a très bien accueilli et fourni de bons conseils. Le gîte est super fonctionnel, parfaitement équipé pour nous (couple avec 1 enfant de 2 ans) et très au calme. La région est magnifique, avec de multiples possibilités (rando, baignade, petits villages, grotte, gorges du Tarn…), de quoi découvrir des choses différentes chaque jour.

Petite maison au calme dans tres beau paysage

Maison tout à fait adaptée à 2 couples d'amis. 2 chambres et 2 salles de douche avec chacune wc privatif. Salle de séjour au milieu séparant les 2 parties. Il ne manquait absolument rien. La maison était complètement équipée. Nous avions à disposition lave vaisselle avec pastilles,produits entretien et des ingrédients comme sel,poivre, café. Vraiment accueil parfait avec propriétaire charmante aux petits soins pour locataires. Poêle pour soirées un peu fraîches. Tv,wi fi. Sejour super. On a même pu acheter produits locaux tout à côté de la maison. Bref à recommander. Situation tres au calme. Il faut prevoir quelques km à faire pour courses.
