Welcome to our Tranquility Oasis!!! Great place to watch OSU football game while swimming in the heated indoor pool!!! Memories will be made here!!!! This house offers something for everyone...A very Spacious 5000 square foot home featuring an additional 2000 square foot indoor heated pool, a large family gathering room, gourmet kitchen, 5 bedrooms with 2 bedroom suites, plenty of private spaces for multiple families, great spaces inside and outside to play games, read a book, or just relax next to the fire pit, star gazing and enjoying smores with friends and family!!

Nearby are Golf courses, Delaware State Park-fishing, hiking, beach, boating, kayaking, picnics, etc., Alum Creek, great restaurants and ice cream. There is even a train that passes behind the house that the kids are sure to enjoy!

Perfect Family Fun Weekend!

What a perfect spot for a small family reunion weekend! The house/pool are exactly as pictured (if not nicer!), kitchen was well-equipped for cooking, and there was plenty of room for kids to play outside. Communication with owners was a breeze! Highly recommend.

Awesome vacation home!

We booked this house for the full family—grandparents through grandkids, and we had a blast. This is the perfect house to bring the family together for meals, games, swimming, and relaxing. Truly, the photos don’t do this house or property justice. It’s very nice, clean, and fully stocked for preparing large meals. Make sure you bring your own shampoo and body wash, but otherwise the house has all you need. We’re already talking about when we can plan our next trip :)

Wet and Wonderful Winter Weekend

We rented the house for our family Christmas get-together. We were after a place large enough for everyone to spread out, have personal space, gather together, eat and play games, and have fun. It met every box on our check list. The property was just as described if not even better! The living areas were absolutely amazing - each offering the most amazing view of wide open spaces, sunrise and sunset views! Plenty of room to spread out.Curtains were available where they were necessary. Kitchen was extremely well stocked with the pots, pans, utensils needed. The kitchen island was the hub of all activity, absolutely perfect The pool was absolutely amazing and a huge hit!! We are already talking of a return trip, perhaps in a little bit better weather to utilize the beautiful porches and outdoor amenities! It was everything we could have asked for! Thank you to the host for such an amazing property.

Perfect space for a family winter getaway

Great space with all the essential and more for a family retreat . The heated indoor pool is as amazing as the pictures show. With snow flying outside it was cool for the kids to enjoy hours of swimming. Plenty of space for a large gathering for cooking , gathering , and oh so comfortable. The entire house was warm and cozy. The fireplace put out great heat while adding an aesthetic space in the main family room. The artwork added more vibrance and energy ! We are already talking about a 2026 repeat.

Huge house, nicely equipped

Had a great time! Huge house and kitchen had everything you could ever need. Some maintenance issues but didn’t affect our stay (screws coming out of upstairs bedroom door, ceiling lights over pool turned off and wouldn’t turn back on). Pool was so nice for our grandkids!

Fantastic kitchen!

Amazing and well stocked kitchen. Utensils, dishes, storage, appliances well supplied and nice quality. Lots of space for everyone. My only suggestions would be a table/chairs so that everyone can eat together and instructions on how to operate ceiling fans, tv’s and fireplace. Would definitely recommend for Family/friends gatherings. Would stay again.

Overall View Of House

The Home Was Absolutely Gorgeous Inside. There were not enough towels for the bathroom s or toilet paper. The windows were dirty & you could really see it when the sunlight shined in. No laundry detergent. Curtains were in Master bedroom but not in the other bedrooms or main window in bathroom. Landscaping horrible.

Nice quiet location to relax and get away from it all. Excellent kitchen for the cooks in the group. Bedrooms could use blinds to prevent sun from getting in at sunrise. House could use an info sheet for the lights and controls.

Overall loved the house. The pool was great and very clean. Kitchen spacious and clean. Huge yard, plenty of parking for our group. Great communication with hostess. There werent any window treatments for the upstairs bedrooms, it would have been nice to have so those folks could sleep late. Would stay here again!

The house was very nice and accommodating. The pool was fantastic!! But there are a lot of maintenance issues that could be addressed easily to make this an even better place to stay for the money. More seating could be added outside to accommodate the amount of people able to stay there. Things could be cleaner like the grill that we didn’t use. Overall though we enjoyed our time there

Underwhelming

While the property was large enough to accommodate our large family stay, it certainly has felt the effects of not being lived in for years at a time. Toilet paper and other toiletries were difficult to come by, towels in the kitchen and bathrooms were sparse, and bits and some of the furniture has certainly seen better days. The front and back porches are nearly unusable due to the multiple birds’ nests that make the porch dirty and uncomfortable to sit on. During our stay, the pool needed considerable maintenance that prevented us from using it for at least a day and a half of our stay and left us swimming in ground water temperature water after that. Some of the stools were falling apart as we sat on them and doorknobs would sometimes fall off. And several light switches had open wires exposed. The property itself is full of potential and has obviously seen more glorious days. That being said, nothing was terrible, but we certainly would not have paid more for our visit.

We recently stayed at this stunning rental home for a family vacation that spanned three generations, and it was nothing short of perfect. The house was as lovely as it appeared in the listing. The spacious layout provided plenty of room for everyone to relax and enjoy their time together, from the youngest to the oldest in our family. The home was well maintained including the conveniently attached indoor pool and had all the amenities we could have hoped for. Whether we were gathering in the large, comfortable living areas or enjoying meals together in the well-appointed kitchen, it felt like the perfect home away from home. The outdoor areas were equally inviting, offering a serene space for morning coffee or evening conversations. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to create lasting memories with our family. Great place for a guys golfing weekend. Kitchen is fully stocked with everything you need utensil and pot and pan wise to make a decent meal. Big webber gas grill outside that works fine. Pool was perfect for the hot weather we had after golf round.

Clean and gorgeous!

We are pretty particular about VRBO’s, but this one surpassed all expectations. Incredibly clean and well-appointed. I appreciated the door lock code for the pool to help keep our kiddo safe. The pool is incredible! Already planning on coming back next year.
