Lovely hotel in a great location. Large and comfortable room and staff friendly and helpful. Great rooftop bar. We were a little worried about the car parking situation before our visit but the process works really well with an excellent shuttle service from hotel to car park and vice versa.

Hotel was great, in a great location, good staff and good food. Only downsides are - a bit difficult to find and parking is off site with a shuttle service. We were on a motorcycle so with our gear that is a little impractical

A brilliant gem of a hotel a short train ride away from Bari. Excellent facilities located on the sea front and a short walk away from the centre. Friendly staff. As a solo traveller I felt safe and happy at all times. Thank you S.Martin Hotel.

I couldn’t check in for over an hour. They left me stranded. Door closed and no one at the desk. There was another gentleman also trying to check in. He told me he was there for business from Milano, he got annoyed, booked somewhere else and left. The lady finally showed up and blamed it on Expedia. The hotel is gorgeous, super comfortable and very clean.The location is perfect. Steps away from the piazza. I would book here again, next time I would call and make sure they’re at the desk before showing up.

Cannot park at this property although their system was very efficient. Parked 10 minutes away in a garage and was driven to property. 2 minute walk from dropoff. Beautiful 300 year old building converted from convent 20 years ago. Amazing breakfast in beautiful setting . Had a problem with our doorlock but they offered us one night free for the inconvenience . Wanted to change rooms but they were full so compted us the night stay. This village is 15 minutes outside of Bari, easy train ride to Bari. Very glad we stayed here, quiet peaceful setting away from crowds of Bari.

Hotel with charm

Amazing location and environment. The only set-back is the parking (1,5 km far from the hotel) - however the owner of the parking spot picked-us up and brought us to the hotel for each journey so it was not a problem at all. When we were arriving, we called to the hotel and everything was arranged with a smile.

The hotel is in a great spot near to the old town, however the website clearly says parking and there is no parking available at the hotel you have to take your chances in the paid parking in the streets nearby. The aircon is in our room was not great I would not want to stay in the height of summer. I found the reception staff rude and unhelpful, with better management and some money spent on it this could be a great hotel, oh and don't state there is parking when you are in a pedestrian area!!!!

Do not park outside the hotel

Do not park outside the hotel.When you leave the main street and enter the stone road to the hotel you will be fined 35.00 euros the hotel doesn't tell you this until it is too late. Also, you will have to drive through free narrow streets to get out. Breakfast at the hotel is a pastry and coffee not much of a breakfast. Overall this is a nice hotel in a great location just be aware of above.

Wonderful, wonderful location!!!! If you love the historic/old city look. The owner is trying to get it back to it's 4 star rating. The staff is wonderful, helpful, and the surrounding restaurants are super. If you like the feel of a neighborhood, close to the port and the action with wonderful sunsets over the sea.
