Private farm cottage, lovingly restored with no extra charges
The perfect cottage to get away from it all, switch off and live slow. Surrounded by farmland with majestic views of the mountain ranges while you take in the big sky the Maniototo is famous for. A great base for local fishing or mountain biking, or to reconnect and enjoy the company of friends and family. Two bedrooms, one king bed and two king singles are made with high quality linens and wool blankets. The newly renovated bathroom features Burlington amenities. The lounge is a lovely place to curl up by the fire and read some of the many books or magazines on offer. The kitchen has everything you might need, including a Nespresso machine and an antique table, perfect for long lazy breakfasts. The large lawn area is perfect for a game or for watching from the sunny verandah. Grans Cottage has been in our family for 5 generations, it’s a special spot that we enjoy sharing with the guests who visit.
The cottage is heated and features a kitchen and space to spread out with 2 bedrooms. Other standard amenities include a fireplace, a coffee maker, and a dining table.

Spacious charming cottage
Roomy, updated cottage that accommodated six adults easily with two sleeping on the living room floor (sorry Dan). A quiet corner of the Maniototo but not far from pubs, swimming holes, historic sites and everything needed for a summer holiday - including the hot Central sun
