Great location near a lovely park, close to San Lorenzo beach. A long, but pleasant walk to town with wonderful scenic views. The hotel has traditional decor which some may find dated, but I truly enjoyed as a break from the current ubiquitous bland modern hotel styles that are now trendy. The furniture was elegant if slightly worn. The were gorgeous marble floors. The bathroom had a comfortable soaking tub.

Begoña Park - outskirts of town, but comfortable

Begoña Park shows it's age, but is still comfortable, despite the distance from city center. The walk is a bit long, but the scenery is beautiful as you strole along the shoreline. Breakfast was delicious, and the staff was helpful.
