The check in process was very smooth and they even allowed us an early check in. The house has 2 well stocked kitchens with all of the essentials. Great location, beautiful views and plenty of room for everyone in our family. Hope to come visit again next summer!

All that we hoped for and more

A beautiful spot, the house did not disappoint! Very clean and well stocked. We were 9 adults and never felt crowded. We will be back.

Perfect for large gathering of friends

The house was clean and worked for our large group. The beds were comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked and the multiple fridges came in handy. The house has many differ spaces to hang out. The sun room was lovely in both the morning and evening. The proximity to Hawthorne Valley Farm - and the Hawthorne Valley Farm Store - was fantastic!

Family Getaway

This property was great. The house was immaculately clean. There were plenty of bedrooms for our group of 14 and a large kitchen/dining area for us to eat together. The kids loved the sun room to hang out in and we really enjoyed barbecuing on the back porch. The highlight however, was definitely the extremely large yard and the fire pit. The kids enjoyed playing ball with the beautiful view, and we roasted marshmallows as the view was transformed into a beautiful starry sky. We would love to visit again.

Fun filled weekend

My college friends and I met up with our families in tow for a reunion weekend. This house gave us ample space and a great location for this. The screened in porch was great for relaxing in the morning with views and playing games, the yard helped to get kid energy out and the firepit was great for late night chats. Having 2 kitchens was also great for creating meals and different times for kids of varying ages and dietary needs. The area was hilly for running/biking but so pretty with not a lot of traffic. Overall it’s a great house that brings people together but also has enough space it you need some time alone.

The property sits atop a hill, with a spectacular view. It consists of two houses joined by a hallway and a terrace. There are also two kitchens, which makes it possible to use two ovens and two fridges.The furnishings are very nice and the beds and bed linens are very comfortable and upgraded, as are the towels. There is plenty of dishes, pots, pans and even a variety of very nice serving platters and bowls, and the hosts have graciously left a well-stocked pantry, complete with paper towels, napkins, foil etc.The only negative comment are the bathrooms: in the first building there are many rooms on the upper floor but only one bathroom. Also, the bathrooms are roomy and clean but all cheaply made, in sharp contrast to the stylish furniture and luxurious location of the property.The communications with the host were impeccable: all the questions and issues answered and addressed almost immediately, and that courtesy is greatly appreciated.
