Very spacious open plan airy kitchen /dinning room and lounge, hard wood floors, over looking the ocean, 4 double bedrooms, (4 double beds)2 with en suite one with bath tub, plus one other shower room .Individual air con, TV/DVD WiFi, dishwasher, 1700sq ft internal single floor area plus large wraparound shady veranda, steps to the sea, sun decking, BBQ, deserted islands walkable at low tide soft sand sea bed, safe swimming and snorkelling, right on the bone fish flats, quiet location. Recently connected fresh town water supply. 10 min drive to George Town,Laundrette 5 min drive, short drive to public beaches.Two 2/3 seat kayaks for your free use.....

We stayed at Three Little Birds for nine nights. The location is amazing. It’s beautiful and peaceful. We brought our paddle boards with us and went out every day. We enjoyed coffee on the deck every morning as well as the sunsets. The house is spacious and was comfortable for 8 people. We had a wonderful stay.

Lovely house, spacious living area for family to share with amazing view. Well located 20 minutes from Blue restaurant (expensive but must go) and Tropic of Cancer beach (must go) and 16 minutes Georgetown where market is located. Rooms each equipped with individual AC units. View from house to the sea is breathtaking. Literally your backyard sea, you can walk 2-3 miles (in both low and high tides) to islands right in front. Sunrise and sunset reading, BBQs or just laying on sun chairs is amazing. Kitchen with plenty of cooking tools. Enjoy your stay.

Great location and views. We saw several fish right off the steps in the water, including barracuda and crabs! We had trouble with the living area AC not working and it didn’t get fixed until the last day of our stay. The house could have been a bit cleaner. We had some snacks that were eaten by mice and saw several droppings. Overall a good stay, but the house could have been made more comfortable with some general cleaning and a few more amenities, like extra towels for a weeks stay. Each person was given 1 towel to last the entire week. We had to buy toilet paper and dish soap, too.

Special Family Trip

Three Little Birds is located in an absolute GORGEOUS location on the south side of Exuma! The bumpy ride is well worth it, it's not about the journey, it's the destination! This property is located directly on the Bonefish Flats, you can literally walk from the deck into the water & it's a short trip to a gorgeous sand bar. See sea stars right out the back door, adolescent lemon sharks swim by (harmless, by the way). Having the kayaks to use was amazing & they were used each & every day! Our golden retriever LOVED the kayak! Our flight landed early at 11.20am, we arrived just after 12.00noon, were able to have early check-in, & our teenagers were on the kayaks by 1pm! Josh, the property manager, is amazing. No matter how large or small, he was beyond responsive. We had the windows open most of the time as the breezes off the water were wonderful & the tree cover around the villa keeps the property cool. My family is familiar with the island, we travel to Exuma often & have stayed is a myriad of properties, so we always select mostly based on the outdoor spaces & we utilized the outdoor space of Three Little Birds each & every day. Also, as there is lush vegetation around the villa, there will be 'noseeums', bring your bug spray or baby oil! It is what it is, it's tropical, but it's worth it! We lit citronella candles & it held them at bay! The villa is large & comfy, beds are comfy, plenty of bathrooms, large kitchen. We had a great time during our two-plus week stay! Thnx!

A fun trip

There were many fun things that we did during our stay. We snorkeled right in front of the house and see some white and yellow fish, kayaked unto the sand bar, and saw many fascinating sea creatures, such as corals of different color and shapes, upside down jellyfish (which we initially thought were sea anemones), gigantic sea cucumbers, and cute little starfish. The house is large and comfortable for our family. We should have paid closer attention to the driving instructions about how to get to the house. Exuma may not have all the modern amenities, but it has so much natural beauty to more than make up for it. Overall, a wonderful trip and we are already planning to come back again.

3 little bird has the best views and spacious interior. When we first arrived there was what seems like a minor snafu (no water bottle waiting) but it was Independence Day for Bahamas and all stores were closed. Josh brought us a bottle within 30 minutes! Super responsive! The House is showing some neglect such as dirty walls, trash littered outside… however the whole island has litter due to no real trash service. pots and pans were dirty and put away so we had to scrub them in order to make meals. As far as a gourmet kitchen, all pots and pans had teflon flaking off and essential utensils like the can opener are super rusty. On the positive, the views are amazing and there’s plenty of space for everyone to spread out. Beds are fine (not hard) contrary to some reviews. Not the owners fault but a helpful hint for the island and especially bonefish flats are is to Make sure to rent the 4wheel drive as the road to go the last mile or so is very rough and overgrown. We dented a rim, popped a tire, and bottomed out several times in the rental car. It was nice to be in a relaxing, safe, picturesque home to just sit and relax despite some minor adjustments needed.

Perfect family vacation

The property is really very nice. The house is quite large, perfect for medium or large family. It is on the water, and sandbar is either short kayak (which is included) ride or you can even walk there. Literally a paradise. We loved it so much, so we are looking to return there next year. The owner, Tony, was very responsive and took care of the issues we experienced (kayaks were inoperable). Overall, we were very satisfied! Thank you, Tony!

Perfect house and location

We stayed for 7 nights. Check-in was a breeze after long trip from Poland. House is in beautiful location, right on the water with stunning views and sunsets. Sun deck was great, there is also covered deck all around the house. We didn't experience any humidity during our stay so breeze was a welcome addition and it cooled the house nicely (A/C available as well). House is joy to stay at. Very comfortable. Stunning views from kitchen, dining room and living room. There were plenty things to do (swimming, 3 cayaks, inflatables). We had a lot of fun. Georgetown is close by car with 2 markets, liquor stores, gas station and whatever you are looking for. Half way to Georgetown from the house there are 2 liquor stores and a laundry place. We highly recommend 3 Little Birds and dealing with Tony was a pleasure. Come and visit Exuma - you won't be disappointed.

Perfect Choice for our Group

We enjoyed our recent stay at 3 Little Birds. It was our third time staying on this side of the island so we knew what to expect. We were a group of 1 couple and 3 individuals, so the 4-bedroom setup was perfect for us. The owner was easy to communicate with. The home was just as described. We enjoyed the use of the kayaks to venture out to the sandbar and then walked across and around the island beyond the sandbar. Fun adventure! The location offers some sunrise and sunset views, with easy access into the water. We drove down the street to snorkel the blue hole nearby. Lots of fish to see!

Family Vacation

We loved our stay at 3 Little Birds! We were a multigenerational family of 8 and the house worked great for all of us. Lots of space for us to gather in the common area and table large enough for us to enjoy meals together. We cooked most meals at the house and found the kitchen large and well appointed. The bedrooms are large and 3 bathrooms was great for a large group. Our only complaint would be the beds and pillows were not comfortable. The water view and access at the house was amazing. We enjoyed swimming, floating, snorkeling and sea kayaking from the deck. All toys for these activities are at the house as well as coolers for our picnic lunches we packed for our beach days. We saw some breathtaking sunsets from the deck. The no-see-ums were an issue at dusk but they are everywhere on the island not just at this house! The road to the house, like all roads on Exuma other than the main highway, is really rough so take your time driving in and out. A rental car is a must to see the many beautiful beaches on the island of Exuma! Our favourite beaches are Tropic of Cancer, Forbes Hill, Pretty Molly Bay, Hoopers Bay and Coco Plum. Thank you for letting us enjoy your piece of paradise. It was hard to leave!

Three Little Birds Review

We are a family of four. We had several issues during our stay. There were intermittent disruptions of water on a daily basis. In addition we experienced a few power outages. The house does not have a backup generator. I contacted Tony (owner). He said, You’re not at home. Do you shower 24 hours a day? Tony promised to send a letter from public works to describe the water issues. That never happened. Furniture and kitchen gadgets needs to be replaced especially the beds, cutting boards, silverware, etc. You can feel the springs protruding through the mattress. Discarding of trash is the renter’s responsibility as there is no trash bin on site. There is only 1 television in the 4 bedroom house. The utility room has space for a stackable washer and dryer but you have to wash clothes at the laundromat. Use of 2 kayaks were included. The roads leading to the property is filled with potholes and puddles. Also, there are 3 aggressive dogs that live on the same street. My children were almost attacked. I do not recommend staying at this property- not worth the money!

A Week in Paradise!!

3 Little Birds is a lovely home in a good location with a spectacular view! Having stayed on the island before with a "private" beach, I was a bit leary of staying on the bonefish flats. However, there was no need to worry because who needs a beach with the deck area and water steps from the door. The location was very different from our last experience but just as beautiful and enjoyable. There are only two areas of improvement I will mention because the other items didn't deter from our enjoyment and have been communicated to Tony. What I will mention is what previous reviews have discussed...mattresses. The mattresses leave much to be desired and you should expect somewhat restless nights if you are over the age of 15. The beds have no boxsprings and instead lay on wooden slats. Not a big deal except one of the beds had multiple broken slats which made the bed unable to be slept in without seeming as if you would roll off the bed on one side. AC is the other improvement. Unless the caretaker turns on the AC prior to your arrival, expect the home to be EXTREMELY warm upon arrival depending on the time of year. It took 18-24 hours to cool down to a reasonable (to us) temperature. Once cool, the main rooms and front bedrooms were very comfortable. Tony provided excellent directions and lots of suggestions for food/activities. The home was well-appointed and had all you could need minus a blender and washer/dryer. Would stay here again if mattresses were replaced!

Beautiful home and location

The house is adorable and was perfect for our family of 6. The location right on the water can’t be beat. We used the kayaks almost every day. Beware of the mosquitos and the roads! But that’s pretty much everywhere on the island.

Holidays in paradise

The house has everything you need. It's very comfortable. We were 3 matrimonies and a single person, each of us with their own bedroom and 3 bathrooms. Everything was clean. The shore is rocky without sand, not deep, and the color of the water is incredible. Outside the house there's another shower very useful, to use when you go out of the sea. The only thing is that the road to the house it's very rocky, and there are big holes, but it's worth the efford. You just need to drive slowly. This makes the house to be very private and peaceful. The nearest market it's 15 minutes away by car. Thanks for everything Tony.

Amazing place for value

Wake up to beautiful views and the serenity everyone is searching for. A group of sailors came in for the regatta and stayed here and they loved it! Perfect for a larger group of people who want a bit of a getaway from the rustle and bustle. Not to mention they have everything you need. Would highly recommend.

Perfect Week at Three Little Birds

We just returned from a perfect week at Three Little Birds! The house is ideal in every way, and the views are incredible. The space is large and breezy, and the water access in the front was wonderful. We cooked most meals at home, and found the kitchen well equipped. The large, open layout was great. The covered porch functioned as our second living space, and we were in and out of the water all day. There is a handy outdoor shower right off the front steps. Our one suggestion would be to rent a car that has decent clearance, as the road in is rough in sections (this is normal in the islands). We had a Honda CR-V and had no difficulty. The house is terrific, Tony (the owner) is a quick, helpful communicator, and we are already looking forward to a return trip! It was painful to pack our bags and leave.
