The amazing La Citta Vecchia b&b

Owners were amazing. When we booked our room it was not 'closed' by Hotels.com. It was, then double booked. The owners found us alternative accommodation nearby until they could offer us a room at La Citta Vecchia. They kept in touch with us throughout. Once we got to La Citta Vecchia we were really pleased. The B&B decor and furnishings fit perfectly with the surrounding area. As well as breakfast there was always juice, milk, tea, coffee, cake & biscuits available in the communal area which was very pleasant to sit in and socialise with other holidaymakers. We are looking forward to going back. We cannot praise Lorenzo and Katya enough for their care and attention.

Im really glad I decided to go with la citta vecchia. The location forces a full cultural experience which is what I was looking for. Unfortunately I don't speak the language but everyone was helpful or spoke some English. My only qualms would be that there was 3 or 4 different keys and I was never told which was for what door,Trial and error figured it out so no damage done.. and unfortunately the shower is a stand alone and doesn't quite accommodate someone my size or my sister either and she is half my size. Overall super happy and I'd stay there again

Convenient for the Old City

The room is in a very convenient location for the Old City. I was met relatively late by a lady who showed me the room and gave me the keys. Interestingly, I did not get the room that I'd apparently booked. In the bathroom, there was a pot of empty sachet wrappers by the sink that hadn't been cleaned away, and no towels were left. I rummaged in the wardrobe to find one, with no idea if I was supposed to or not. Breakfast is a sorry affair- I didn't have any on the three days I stayed. Store bought packaged bread, cheap biscuits and rolls....not inspiring and disappointing considering it's Italy!

夜の9時を過ぎてしまい、チェックインできないと思ったらホテルのオーナーが戻って来てくれて、チェックインすることができました。ホテルのスタッフ全員がコミュニケーションを取ることができるので、とても満足でした。部屋もきれいだったので良かったです。

Das Zimmer von uns liegt direkt beim Restaurant und es war bis Mitternacht sehr laut. Das Badezimmer ist draußen. Es gibt die Küche, es ist praktisch wenn man etwas kochen möchten.

Evitate tutto il quartiere!

B&B spartano ma dotato di quel che serve per dormire. Il problema è che è in pieno nel quartiere "notturno" di Genova e la stanza è proprio sopra un bar... fino alle 2 di notte è stato impossibile dormire, nonostante i tappi forniti dalla proprietaria. Per di più, le finestre sono stra-vecchie, per niente isolate... per cui sembra di dormire in mezzo al bar. Inoltre, se avete cose di valore, le finestre non si chiudono bene, quindi non è possibile lasciare nulla di valore in stanza perché chiunque potrebbe entrare dalla finestra (anche se la padrona giura che è un quartiere tranquillo e senza furti proprio perché c'è molto va-e-vieni sotto quelle finestre). Se dovessi tornare a Genova eviterei di dormire in quella zona della città...

Un encanto de piso

Un B&B con mucho encanto. Un edificio antiguo pero reformado y acondicionado con mucho gusto. Cerca del puerto y en pleno centro histórico de Genova que nos encantó pero eso conlleva el inconveniente del ruido de la noche de fiesta (Katia tuvo el detalle de dejarnos tapones para las orejas y todo solucionado). El desayuno perfecto.
