May in the Smokies — warm days, lush green mountains, and lighter crowds before summer hits. This modern 3-story chalet sits on Ski Mountain with east-facing decks built for golden sunrises, a private swim spa, outdoor TV deck for barbecues under the open sky, firepits, and a game room the whole family will fight over. Two king suites, bunk room with rock climbing wall, gourmet coffee bar and EV charger. Every detail exactly as described.
Step inside the main level and the first thing that catches you is the 3-sided electric fireplace at the heart of the open-concept living space. Plush leather sofas and designer accent chairs face a 65" Smart TV, with Smoky Mountain views framing the windows behind it. The kitchen is fully open to the living area — stainless steel appliances, pendant lighting, and a peninsula with bar stools where guests naturally gather. The coffee bar is stocked with an espresso machine, French press, and Keurig Duo serving both K-pods and a full carafe. The dining table seats 8 for family meals indoors.
Both king suites sit on the upper level, each with an electric fireplace, 55" Smart TV, private ensuite, and a door that opens directly onto the upper deck — step outside and the sunrise is right there every morning. The primary suite has a spa-like ensuite with an oversized walk-in shower; the second has an ensuite with a deep soaking tub. Tucked in the upstairs hallway between the two suites is a cosy reading nook overlooking the front — a quiet retreat for a slow morning coffee while the rest of the house is still asleep.
On the lower level, the bunk room features queen-over-queen bunks and a rock climbing wall that kids head straight for, plus its own private bathroom. Right alongside it, the game room keeps everyone entertained — pool table, multicade arcade with 60+ classic games, Golden Tee golf, board games, and leather sofa seating around a 65" Smart TV. The bathrooms are fitted with modern floating vanities, anti-fog mirrors, and full-size toiletries for your entire stay.
Three private decks, each with its own character. The upper deck has a firepit with patio seating — the spot for evening s'mores and stargazing. The main deck is the social hub: a gas firepit dining table for 6, gas grill, outdoor TV for watching the game or a movie while you barbecue, and a hanging egg chair to soak in the mountain air and scenery. Every meal here becomes a moment. The lower deck is home to the private swim spa — soak and unwind with Smoky Mountain views stretching out before you.
Families traveling with little ones will find a pack 'n play, highchair, baby bathtub, and kid-friendly dinnerware already waiting. Cornhole is available in the house for guests to set up and enjoy in the driveway. High-speed Wi-Fi, dedicated workspace, and washer/dryer are all included. Parking for 2 vehicles in the private driveway with overflow spaces at the end of the street. EV charging station on-site — Tesla owners please bring your own adapter.
May is one of the best months to base yourself here. Dollywood's Flower & Food Festival runs all month through June 7 with half a million blooms and a seasonal food menu throughout the park. Ober Mountain is just 2 miles away with the Tennessee Flyer mountain coaster, Cloud Catcher ziplines, and the Strawberry Stroll seasonal menu. Great Smoky Mountains National Park is 2.4 miles away — May is prime time for waterfalls, wildflowers at elevation, vehicle-free Wednesdays at Cades Cove, and active black bears on the trails.
Just bring your groceries and your sense of adventure — everything else is waiting for you.
