The Edgewater is a great hotel all around. It is family friendly. The rooms were clean. The staff was also amazing. The best part about this property is that it is in walking distance for the parkway. My family and I will definitely stay here again!
The property was a little on the old side and the parking wasn't the easiest. But overall I was pleasantly surprised. The pool was great and you could walk to everything. I would definitely stay here again for Gatlinburg.

Loved our stay.
Even though this is an older property it was very clean and well maintained. Room was nice, quiet, plenty of counter space, and it was a spacious room. The staff was friendly. It was also nice to have a warm pool and hot tubs to use even in October. We would stay again.
Great location to all the attractions in town
Location was good
Both elevators were down at one point and my 85 year old mother had to climb 5 floors. The rest of the time one elevator was down causing very long waits. The place looks old and dirty. Some renovations are needed.
Love the location of this property. Close to downtown so you can walk, and a parking garage right underneath. Two hot tubs and an indoor outdoor pool to enjoy in your downtime. Great breakfast and super friendly staff.
Was a great view of the space needle (balcony side) for New Years!

Edgewater itself was a decent hotel, fairly clean and the location was great. Our issues were the incredibly slow elevators so we ended up taking the stairs once we figured out where they were. We had awful mattresses that felt like we were sleeping on the floor and the biggest issue we had wasn’t the hotels fault but it was the nail in the coffin so to speak. There was construction across the street all night long with constant banging and trucks beeping. We originally paid for a three night stay but ended up checking out a day early and going home because we couldn’t get any rest. The person checking us out didn’t even seem to care about our concerns or offer us a refund for the last night.
The only complaint I would have about this hotel is that the elevators are slow. Had to wait too long sometimes for an elevator. Other than that it was a very nice hotel
