The communication with the owner was simple and they were able to answer all questions. The property looked exactly like the photos. The kitchen was stocked with items to use to cook. You do need to bring a sponge to hand clean dishes, but that is it. It was close for downtown activities. It was a ten minute drive to Pigeon Forge which was great. We highly recommend this place!

Memorable Stay in the Smokies

Beautiful Cabin with all the listed amenities, inside Great smoky national park. Had a wonderful time with my family during thanksgiving week. Will definitely stay at this place while visiting the smokies.

So wonderful for group of friends!!

This cabin is so nice and the owners are so great! The beds are so comfortable and the cabin is so cozy with a beautiful view of trees and we even saw bears walk by the cabin! We cooked a lot in the kitchen which had everything we needed, including spices and oil, and did a lot of hiking and adventuring. There was plenty of room in the driveway for our two cars and we were reinbursed for buying toilet paper, dishwasher pods, and paper towels. I highly recommend this place especially if you are coming with a group of friends :) there was room for everyone to sleep and hangout comfortably. Also awesome hot tub. Thanks so much!!

Great getaway

We very much enjoyed our stay. We had a black bear that visited the property, beginning almost the minute we pulled in the drive! We saw it a few more times during our few days stay. The property was very nice and neat. Had all we needed for our stay. The only negative was we could not get the fireplace to come on, but that was not essential, just would have been a fun addition! The owners communicated quickly to us for all needs. Check in and out was super easy. Location was close to downtown Gatlinburg and very convenient. We would definitely stay here again!

Perfect!

Absolutely amazing! This was our first family vacay out of our home state Florida! Everything about it was perfect! The Cabin was quiet and cozy and very clean! The view was beautiful! We were so close to everything but just far enough to enjoy the peace and quiet. We are from FL and arent use to the hills and mountains but the location and drive to this cabin was not scary at all!! I fell in love with Tennessee, we will definitely be back! Thank you for letting us stay!

Wish we could give 10 stars!

The Getaway Chalet was the perfect getaway for my husband and I! The cabin was a short, less than 15 minute drive to downtown Gatlinburg and about 20 minutes to Pigeon Forge. We were very intrigued being that the cabin is shaped like an octagon! Immediately after walking into the doors the cabin smelled clean and after getting settled in we decided it was the most clean Vrbo/ Air B&B stay that we had ever experienced! The hot tub was also spotless. We also really loved the variety of candles to burn and Christmas decorations. I was very hesitant to leave our cozy, Christmas decorated home but the Getaway Chalet was very cozy and decorated for the Holiday perfectly. The kitchen and coffee bar had everything that we needed plus more! We were very impressed with the kitchen and coffee selection in comparison to other Vrbo/ Air B&B experiences we have had in the past. The only advice we have for anyone wanting a great view of the Smoky Mountains is this cabin may not be best for you for that (which is nothing that the hosts could change!). We stayed in December and had great views due to all of the leaves being off of the trees. The cabin is surrounded by quite a bit of trees so I would imagine during the spring, summer, and early fall the view of mountains is very limited. BUT if you are interested in bird watching, this cabin offered fantastic opportunities for bird watching! Overall, BOOK THE GETAWAY CHALET! My husband and I cannot wait to come back!

Everything was fine. Would have been nice to know only one pillow on beds. Would have brought our own. Couldn’t get my Netflix account to load to the TV, so that was a little bit of a drag.

Chalet getaway at it's best

Had a wonderful stay in the beautiful mountains. We would certainly stay at the Chalet again. Saw a bear walking close to cabin, that was awesome. Everything in the chalet was clean and up to date. Lovely place to stay.

Cutest cottage

Great stay in an adorable little cottage/cabin. The octagon shape iz really interesting to stay in, perfect size for a couple. Easy enough to get to the cabin, very straightforward directions are given in case theres no cell service, and the drive is not bad at all.aybe 5-10min from a decent sized town.

Great Place to Stay

We had a great time during our stay. The property has arcade games, a Foosball table, and a hot tub. It was very nice to come back after a day of exploring Gatlinburg or Pigeon Forge to the amenities provided with this property.

Fantastic Place

My boyfriend and i enjoyed our stay at this chalet immensely. It has everything you could want (and more) and is such a cute little place. I would absolutely recommend this location and would return without hesitation.
