Incredible views of the bay from our property (especially from the new Cedar 10x20 deck off the patio door) and only steps away from putting your feet on the sandy beach. From this beach, take in the views of the historic wharf, coast guard stations,and hills all around or try your hand at clamming. Barview Park is 1 1/2 miles from this property where the sandy, ocean beach provides miles and miles of sea shell collecting, jogging, and bird watching. Even try some surf fishing! Other area interests are: the Tillamook Air Museum (which used to house quite a few blimps in it's day), museums, quaint little shops, charter boats, Tillamook cheese factory and lots of other area beaches and rivers. Come visit the northern Oregon Coast and stay at the Big G House (An Oregon Coast Vacation House) located in Garibaldi next to the beautiful Tillamook Bay.

The house is a comfortable 2300 square feet and has been partially remodeled including new vinyl windows, large patio door that opens up to the beautiful newly built Cedar deck (overlooks the bay). There's 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a recreation room, a huge utility room (we added bunk beds for your convenience, to make 3.5 bedrooms), kitchen, dining area & nice sized living room. This home has a split level entry with a covered porch on entry.

The kitchen has been updated with new appliances including a dishwasher. The upstairs bathroom has been remodeled and features a tub/shower combo for your convenience. There's another bathroom downstairs that has also been remodeled and has a shower stall. The master bedroom features a king sized bed and a full size futon. Then there's 2 additional bedrooms downstairs with queen sized beds for your comfort. We have added bunk beds in the huge utility room as a bonus for families. The utility room features a new HE washing machine, a very quiet moisture sensing dryer, and a utility sink plus the bunk beds. So no coin-ops here!!! The large living room features a newer leather sectional sofa, a matching rocker/recliner and additional chair all for your comfort as you watch movies on the new Samsung 50' LCD HD Smart TV, or listen to some music on our nice sound system. Need to research something online or want to check your social media? No problem, WiFi is now available and is FREE to our guests. If all the excitement gets to be a bit too much... simply just kick back and relax-you're at the coast!

The open floor plan allows for a large dining area with 2 seperate dinette sets that can seat about 10 people.... and to feed those 10 people, how about the nice, big, fully equipped kitchen. We have provided everything you would need such as; a microwave, ceramic stove-top, dutch oven, blenders, crock pots, coffee maker, toaster, utensils, pots/pans, dining service for about 10 people. Cook your favorite meals while enjoying the breathtaking views of the Tillamook Bay right out the two, big windows in the kitchen! Or sit outside of the dining area, on the big deck and take in that fresh, sea air!

For entertainment, try the big rec room downstairs. There's a pool table, board games, puzzles or enjoy the large selection of our video library.

Outside, we have a large backyard with fruit trees and mature landscaping. Have some fresh fish/crab to grill? No problem! Please feel free to use the new large gas grill or or the charcoal grill provided for you, all while you watch Eagles & nesting Blue Herons nearby!

There's plenty of room for parking in the pull through gravel driveway we've designed. Can hold about 4 vehicles and a boat so space is not a problem.... We also have a carport for your use if you desire.

There is no smoking allowed in the house but covered areas outside are provided for your smoking convenience.
