Aleays a good time

This was our second stay at slip and slide and was very enjoyable. The owner greets you and shares stories of the property and area, a real treat and a lovely gentleman. The space is comfortable and clean and well stocked. We look forward to our next stay.

Great spot!

Really enjoyed the house and proximity to the park. Lots of space and full kitchen. We enjoyed doing the 1000 piece puzzle of Yellowstone park map during our downtime from being in the park. Thanks!

Spring Break 2025

We absolutely loved our time in Montana. This home had everything we needed including pots, pans, utensils, spices, oils, coffee pods, soap, shampoo, conditioner, board games, blackstone, and grill. The property is beautiful and the kids loved exploring right outside the doors.

The Barnhouse was the nicest property we have stayed at to date! Warm, comfortable and felt very safe. The hosts were so welcoming and enjoyed sharing the history of the property which was very interesting. We watched all kinds of wildlife just a short distance from the house too! If you are in the Gardiner area I would definitely recommend a stay The Slip and Slide Ranch Barnhouse.

Brst wsy to see Best way to explore Yellowstone.

The owner. Frank, gave us great adice on things to fo. We went over beartooth pass on his recommendation, then he set us to an off the grid trip to see Grizzly bears. We saw 7 Grizzly. Ill definitely be back. Thanks Frank!

Perfect Getaway

Slip & Slide is a perfect getaway. Susan was the perfect host. Easy access to Yellowstone. All essentials for a great stay were provided. Rooms were large and kitchen was well equipped. Very clean property. Beds were wonderful.

Fishing Vacation

The Slip & Slide Ranch was an awesome place to stay. It was a beautiful home with tons of space. It was surrounded by gorgeous country. All the amenities that you could possibly need. Very smooth check in and check out process.

Slope and Slide ranch is great!

We loved our stay at the ranch. Lots of land around with beautiful views. Close to the river just across the road. We took a drive and saw beautiful scenery and a mama grizzly a few miles north of the ranch.

Perfect for trip to Yellowstone

What a nice house for our home base while visiting Yellowstone. It is comfortable and well-appointed with everything needed. Even though it is right off the highway, it is peaceful and quiet. We even heard an elk bugle after sunset. How cool is that! It is also close to Gardiner if you want to get a bite at one of the restaurants or bring home takeout. We did both.

You need to stay HERE!

This was the most gorgeous house and area! Susan, Frank and Chuck were so accommodating and the house was spotless and very upscale! Keurig stopped working and they brought a brand new one the same day. Had everything we needed for staying there. Highly recommend this beauiful place. We will definitely be back when come back! ❤️

Barnhouse at Slip and slide Ranch

There were five adults and everyone had their space but the main part of the home was an open floor plan where we could all be together cooking, playing games, or just catching up on life. I would recommend this home for anyone wanting to be in a quiet area but close to Yellowstone.

Slip and slide ranch

The house was wonderful. Easy access, close to Yellowstone North entrance. Owners are very nice, live right down the road. The kids were playing in the sprinkler in the back yard. Got see a herd of Ek in the fields above the house. Great place. Hope to be able to stay again in the future

Lovely Home Away From Home!

What a comfortable place to stay while we were visiting Yellowstone National Park. The kitchen had everything we needed to make home cooked meals and the hosts were very responsive. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Slip and Slide Ranch!

If this property is available - book it

We loved this place. We are frequent ABB/VRBO'rs and also stayed in four places on this trip. By far the best. Susan was great, CJ the cleaning pro was awesome - place was spotless. Tons of expected touches like the kitchen amenities, blackstone, coffee options, robes (kids loved these), and on and on....Susan event got us a basketball which made by kids happy after a day in the park. Great location about 10 mi from north gate. Views were amazing. Really liked Yellowstone hot springs down the street, Wonderland Cafe, Wolf Trackers and Parks Fly Shop down the street. The whole vibe of Gardiner was just great. Bonus of the property was all the great history that Franklin was able to share with us. The family has been there since the early 1900's and the many stories really made some great memories for us. Hoping to make it back!

Fabulous place near Yellowstone

The property and the house was fantastic. Super clean, and beautiful. Our hosts were amazing. Thank you Susan. Susan went above and beyond to help us out picking up a prescription for us in Livingston about 50 miles away. This is an ideal location to use as a home base for Yellowstone.
