Welcome to Sherbet Lane. Enjoy a whimsical & fun mermaid experience at this centrally-located cottage, a half-mile from the beach. Our cottage was recently updated & themed for a unique experience. Including satin mermaid robes for all genders. We offer iced cold water, hot coffee plus a light breakfast which includes waffles or oatmeal. Our keyless entry and brightly lit patio provides safety when coming in after dark. Full laundry services. A charcoal BBQ is available outside for grilling.
Our yard is a shared space with our vacation rental next door. Please be courteous to each other. We do offer bike rentals. We have two bikes for the entire property. First come, first serve basis.
The cottage is air-conditioned and features a kitchen and a patio, and there's space to spread out with 2 bedrooms. Guests can enjoy a Smart TV and stay connected with free WiFi. Other standard amenities include a washing machine, a fenced private yard, and a coffee maker.

We stayed at this cute little house for one night before our cruise. Everything was as advertised. Clean. Well stocked. Comfy beds. The water pressure in the bathroom was alittle low but overall a great experience.

Everything about this cottage was enjoyable from the theme to the convenience of being located right in the center of Galveston. Our host was easy to contact and it was easy to access the property. We would definitely stay there again.

It was adequate for what we needed it for, a place to stay a night before our cruise. The location is not great. One of our uber drivers said we were “in the hood” and that was apparent. The place was clean and served its purpose. I reached out to the host to ask if we do a luggage drop without “checking in” until the scheduled time as we took taxis from the Houston airport with all our luggage, and trust me lugging around your luggage in the heat and in this specific location was not ideal. But I never got a response so we had our luggage at a local Mexican restaurant and sat for 2.5 hours. It smelled like the house cleaner smoked marijuana when we got in, the clocks were all incorrect, there was no “extra complimentary items” like toothbrushes, etc like you usually see at an Airbnb if you forgot something. Instead you had to pay 2$ for a toothbrush if you took one. like I said, it served its purpose and it was clean, burly I would certainly never stay there for more than that.

The Whimsical Mermaid Cottage was a cute little place to bring my small family for our first trip to Galveston! It was very clean and not a far drive to the beach and all that Galveston has to offer! Can’t wait to come back!

Orlando and Kally have made all the details for these cottages super cute! My friend and I loved staying here. It's the perfect size for two people, and not too far from The Strand shopping and the beach. We had a great time!

Wonderful cottage!

My husband and I came to town for Dickens on the Strand. The cottage was absolutely perfect! It was within walking distance of the Strand, restaurants and breweries. We will definitely be back!

Adorable Cottage, Great location

My friend and I had a girl's weekend. We truly enjoyed this little cottage. It was small and perfect for us. It was very clean and comfortable. Very good location as far as restaurants and entertainment. We will definitely be back!

Fantastic!!!

This was a fantastic stay. We enjoyed this cottage before boarding a Royal Caribbean cruise. This was perfect for our short stay and we really enjoyed the outside space. We were 4 adults, it was a little tight, but the cottage was clean and quaint and, given the adfordable price, was perfect for us. Thank you for sharing with us.
