Somewhat visible but that wasn't a priority for us. The room was huge and exceeded our expectations. The staff who assisted us at pre-checkin were great, and the woman who checked us in was amazing as well, great people, great room and great stay

The support staff was rude and dismissive. I booked a non-refundable stay and had a medical emergency last minute. It was not taken seriously and the staff ignored my consistent efforts to reach out to them BEFORE check-in time to explain the situation. I was not admitted or had (medical paperwork) as they requested before the check in time. They wanted paperwork before I was officially admitted. I understand "the policy" but I didn't deserve to be treated rudely. I deserved a partial refund as I was not requesting a full. Every customer is different and circumstances happen. I don't believe taking someone's funds when they are hospitalized is ethical. The "popular" hotel stays booked and refunding someone partial would not have send the property into any "bankruptcy". I will never book a Residence Inn again. different

My family and I had a pleasant experience at this hotel! The room was very clean, staff was friendly, polite and willing to help when needed. The hotel is close to the restaurants and Convention Center. It is aLao located across the street from the beach and I personally enjoyed walking to the beach in the morning even though was cold weather. I definitely recommend this hotel to other visitors of Galveston Island.

We had an extended stay in Galveston due to weather related flight cancellations. The staff was incredibly kind and allowed us to hang out in the spacious lobby for about 5 hours until our room was ready. The room was huge and provided a safe haven for our family while we waited out the storm. Breakfast was good!
