After staying at this house, I was pretty shocked at how well it was rated. The house needs some major TLC...fresh paint, new carpet (so many gross stains), fix janky kitchen sink faucet (could barely get it to stop dripping), etc. We paid a higher price for this house knowing it had a pool that could be heated in the winter. Throughout the first day we were to have the pool heated, we noticed it was not warming at all. We were in communication with the property manager and while they were responsive, I had to initiate communication for any updates on the pool. The pool guy was delayed because of the NY holiday and apparently the pool needed to be fixed. It wasn't until I began inquiring that we found out that the pool was not able to be heated...even though they kept telling me it was over 80 degrees while being ice cold. My kids were super disappointed...this is the only reason we chose this house. While it was out of their control, I am super disappointed that I had to continually probe on the status of the pool repairs and temperature. By the time we found out there was a bigger issue with the pool, we were almost checking out of our stay. They didn't end up charging us for the pool heating fee, but it was an overall poor experience. The house has potential to be great and I'm sure is great during the summer with the nice pool. You're ultimately paying a premium for that pool and an extremely sub-par house.
