With its location slightly above the town of Lienz, on the Gaimberg, this unique mountain hut offers breathtaking views of the region. The Tyrolean décor with lots of wood creates a unique look. You can warm up by the warm wood-burning stove (plenty of firewood available) while going over your plans for the holiday day. Children play carefree in the enclosed garden, which is also equipped with a barbecue. Delightful!
Due to the hut's central location, it is only 3 km to the valley station or mountain station of the Zettersfeldbahn. In a few minutes you can also reach the beautiful town of Lienz, which is always worth a visit. In summer, you can start wonderful hikes through the distinctive nature directly from the hut
Charging an e-car at the accommodation is not possible and not allowed. Should you nevertheless charge your car illegally, the house owner/manager may, without discussion, hold you responsible for any damage and charge a fine

Traumhaft
Die Hütte ist mit ihrer Lage einfach traumhaft. Vieles ist wie vor langer Zeit belassen und das ist gut so, das hat Charme. Man befindet sich hoch über der Stadt Lienz, die man mit dem Auto in wenigen Minuten erreichen kann. Ein sehr schöner Ort mit tollen Geschäften, es lohnt sich vorbeizuschauen. Die Region selbst ist ein Idealer Ausgangspunkt für tolle Touren sei es zu Fuß, mit dem Fahrrad oder motorisiert. Die Gastgeber waren stets erreichbar und sind super freundlich und hilfsbereit. Wir kommen mit Sicherheit wieder. Vielen Dank

Hüttenerlebnis
Für alle die die Ruhe genießen wollen. Schnelle Abfahrt nach der Stadt Lienz die alles zu bieten hat. Die Hütte bietet für einen Kurzurlaub alles was man braucht, Sehr nette Gastgeber. Gerne wieder.

Perfekter Ausgangspunkt zum Wandern
Das urige Häuschen ist perfekt gelegen. Vom Balkon aus hat man einen traumhaften Blick auf die Berge. Es ist alles sauber und gepflegt und es hat uns an nichts gefehlt. Die Dusche in der Küche ist vielleicht etwas ungewöhnlich, aber überhaupt kein Problem. Man riecht, dass hier früher mal geraucht wurde, aber nach ausgiebigem Lüften ist ebenfalls das kein Problem mehr. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt.
