Casa do Lido, A perfect family abode.

This villa is a real hidden gem. Located near the well-known tourist area of the Lido, is ideal for families who want to make small city walks, go to the beach with access to the sea and enjoy a good rest very close to the city center of Funchal.

With a classic decoration, where the details and wood finishings give it style and comfort, as well as reminders of pieces from the past, giving this museum atmosphere that tells stories of moments, pieces or memories from an era.
The interior of the house consists of three bedrooms, two with single beds and one with a double bed; a spacious and fully equipped kitchen where you can prepare your own; a spacious living room.
Outside you will find a nice and pleasant garden, which you should "use and abuse" during your stay. Here you can have your meals outdoors surrounded by greenery and fresh air. This space is perfect for children, who can have fun and create new adventures.

The property has a maximum capacity for six people, and parking is available.

THE NEIGHBOURHOOD AND THE SURROUNDING AREA
Situated in one of the most prestigious tourist areas of Funchal, this property is close to a pleasant promenade, beaches, supermarkets, pharmacies, stores and the Forum Madeira shopping center, which has several international brands and movie theaters.

Near the property there are two bathing complexes (Lido and Pota Gorda) with swimming pool and sea access.
Nearby there are several bars and restaurants where you can delight yourself with our gastronomy or with international cuisine. Besides the closest options, you can also go to Funchal city center (five minutes by car) where you will find a larger variety of restaurants.
Praia Formosa beach is about three kilometers away from the apartment, perfect for swimming and sunbathing on the pebble and black sand.

TRANSPORT
For departures and arrivals from the airport, there is an aerobus stop about 2 minutes from the house. For departures and arrivals from the airport, the best option to reach the apartment will be a transfer. Ask us to arrange one with our local partners. It is cheaper than the cabs you find at the airport!

Guests have access to all areas of the apartment.

We are always available to help or answer questions. Please contact us via cell phone numbers or email. We will do our best to accommodate all requests.

OTHER REMARKS
- According to Portuguese law, all guests are required to present a valid identification document (e.g. passport, identity card).
- Check-in must be scheduled in advance. If not booked within a maximum of 48 hours, guests will be subject to our staff's availability.
- All bed linens and towels are provided. We can also place a crib, high chair, and baby bathtub if needed. There is a first aid kit, fire extinguishers and fire blanket at all properties.

ATTENTION
Please be advised that a Tourist Fee will be charged to all persons staying overnight in the municipality of Funchal. Thus, all customers staying in tourist resorts and/or accommodation establishments, aged 13 or over, will be charged €2.00 per person/night, up to a maximum of 7 nights and a maximum of €14.00 per person/stay. When you arrive, you will receive a link to pay this municipal tax.
