We had an absolutely wonderful experience! From the moment we arrived, we felt welcome and at home. Our room was spacious, clean, and beautifully decorated. The Christmas tree they thoughtfully placed in our room was a lovely touch – it made our stay feel extra special. The bathroom was spotless and well-appointed, with plenty of towels and amenities. The hotel's location is fantastic, within easy walking distance to many popular attractions, restaurants, and shops. But what really made our stay stand out was the exceptional staff. Everyone we met was friendly, helpful, and genuinely seemed to care about our comfort and happiness. And finally, the breakfast was great – a wide selection of delicious options to start our day off right.

We liked the space in the apartment, the rustic style and balcony, the natural pool, and the proximity to the lake. There was a good selection of restaurants in the area. Public transport to Füssen and the castles was simple but we needed to check schedules because buses are infrequent on weekends.

This hotel was the highlight of our vacation. Straight out of a fairytale with horses on site, cows next door, a beautiful lake in walking distance—picture perfect! The room was spotless and huge, perfect for our family. Very convenient to old town Füssen, which is equally charming. 10/10 recommend!!

Issues with the hotel: 1- Wifi or 5G does not work in the room. That’s a bummer when you travel and searching for info. 2- Smells very bad outside of the building. Not sure where it’s coming from but hard to breath. 3- Lots of bugs around the building, so hard to relax outside at the lounge area. 4-It says the hotel had a pool, but it’s actually a “nature” pond like pool in the back that has all sorts of life inside. Nobody entered that pool. Looks beautiful but certainly scary to swim in. I’m glad I found this small town bc of the hotel. The Hopfenssee is beautiful and cozy. However, I don’t think I can recommend the hotel due to the issues I had while staying.

Clean and comfortable with just the most amazing views of mountains and countryside. We loved it. The hot water was only warm though, not a big thing but tricky to find anybody to ask and when we left we also struggled to find anybody or a way in. Would we stay again? YES, YES, YES

Beautiful location with cows and horses close by (note the smell of the country when you open the windows, which you will need to, because like most places in the area, there is no A/C). Gorgeous views of the mountains from the rooms. The breakfast area is pure Bavaria and super cool. Staff was very welcoming. Room was very beautiful and well equipped including a basic kitchen with everything you'd need for a long stay. We arrived after reception closed and the instructions were easy to follow. This place is a hidden gem! It's close to Fussen (15 min) if you are in the area to see the castles, but far enough to get away from the crowds.
