Awesome apartment in Friedrichskoog

This beautiful holiday apartment for 4 people is located on the 1st floor in Friedrichskoog on the North Sea. Here 4 people will find enough space for their holiday.



The apartment has a cosy living-dining room with a flat-screen TV and a Nintendo Wii games console for entertaining evenings as well as a DVD player with various DVDs. There are various board games for quiet evenings. The well-equipped kitchen has a dishwasher, ceramic hob with built-in oven, fridge-freezer, microwave, coffee machine and toaster.



The balcony is covered so that it can also be used in bad weather. The bedroom downstairs has a single bed, which can be extended to two beds by pulling it out. There is a reading corner with a cosy armchair in the room. The upper bedroom has a double bed and a reading corner with a comfortable sofa. Both bedrooms have blackout blinds.



Friedrichskoog is conveniently located in the southern part of the Wadden Sea UNESCO World Heritage Site. The romantic fishing and seaside resort with healthy North Sea air is ideal for a holiday with children. The beach is shallow and well supervised. There is a large pirate playground, the Willi Wal indoor play hall and, of course, the seal centre. There are also many cycling and hiking trails to discover the North Sea coast at your leisure. Friedrichskoog is also a great starting point for mudflat hikes or day trips to all the highlights along the coast, or excursions to the islands and Halligen.



***As part of the necessary dyke reinforcement, the dyke in Friedrichskoog-Spitze will be given a new profile from April 2024 until probably the end of 2025 in order to withstand the demands of climate change. The beach in Friedrichskoog-Spitze will NOT be usable during the entire construction period.



The spa park will also be redesigned from autumn 2023 and additional facilities will be added. These include, for example, a widened dyke crown path, spacious terraces including a panorama box and a dyke and park grandstand with seating steps to linger on. From spring 2024, the completed event and play area of the spa park is expected to provide a varied alternative to the bathing beach.

Klein, aber okay

Wir waren 1 Woche im Herbst in Friedrichskoog. Die Wohnung ist klein uns fühlt sich recht beengt an (vermutlich wegen er Schrägen), ist aber für eine Woche ausreichend. Die Ausstattung ist simpel, in der Küche alles, was man benötigt und darüber hinaus. Einiges ist aber schon verwohnt (Duschkabine, Esstisch) und könnte mal erneuert werden. Ich würde die Aufteilung auch anders gestalten (Tausch der beiden Schlafzimmer, Tausch von Wohn- und Küchenbereich), dann wäre es besser. Die Treppe nach oben war für uns (2 und 1,8 Meter) nicht so toll. Die Lage ist super und war für uns ein Highlight, Minigolf, Bäcker, Restaurant, Deich... alles in wenigen Gehminuten erreichbar.
