It was a very good hotel with this price, rewe is in vicinity and you can buy everything you need. The only thing I did not like was some unreal explanations about room, based on room description it was supposed to have a partial view to bodensee, but was not met, and bathroom facilities was not complete.

Great week at Lake Constance

Lake Constance is a wonderful area for vacations. The Plaza Hotel in Friedrichshafen is located a bit outside of downtown. Its a hotel with breakfast only. No restaurants nearby. Parking was a bit of a challenge at times, more cars than spaces. Breakfast buffet was excellent every day. The service was pleasant/friendly.

Quite an expensive alternative given the overall experience. Challenging to interact with the personnel who seemed to be mostly uninterested. Absolutely no privacy in the bathroom; big window facing the parking lot/street. Smelled like old sweat in the bathroom. Parking fee is an absolute robbery on the backside, despite free parking 2 blocks away. I forgot my Sony camera battery charger and tried to contact them multiple times, but they ignored me.

Mussten das Zimmer wechseln, da unser erstes Zimmer unerträglich warm war und die Heizkörper waren warm obwohl diese aus waren. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Sie gab uns in kurzer Zeit ein alternatives Zimmer. Was das Frühstück betrifft weis ich nicht ob das Hotel personell unterbesetzt war, denn man musste sie immer wieder darauf aufmerksam machen wenn etwas leer war. TIPP: Zimmer 425 ist der Hammer, es hat einen traumhaften Blick auf den See und ist gigantisch groß!

Wir hatten insgesamt einen schönen Aufenthalt im Hotel Föhr Plaza in Friedrichshafen. Besonders positiv war der unkomplizierte und sehr freundliche Check-in. Gerade über die Feiertage haben wir es sehr geschätzt, dass uns sogar ein kostenloser Parkplatz in der Nähe empfohlen wurde. Das Zimmer war sauber, das Bett bequem und die Aussicht wirklich wunderschön. Auch unser Hund hat sich sehr wohlgefühlt — über die Snacks und das kleine Bettchen haben wir uns sehr gefreut. Ein kleiner Minuspunkt war, dass der TV nicht funktioniert hat. Normalerweise würde uns das nicht weiter stören, aber situationsbedingt waren wir abends meist schon früher im Zimmer, weshalb ein kurzer Hinweis darauf, dass es eine Störung beim Anbieter gibt, hilfreich gewesen wäre. Auch die telefonische Erreichbarkeit vor der Anreise war eher schwierig. Per Mail war die Kommunikation hingegen super. Insgesamt ein angenehmer Aufenthalt mit vielen schönen Seiten und nur kleineren Kritikpunkten.
