Excellent friendly staff that are polite and very helpful, any questions I had were answered quickly and comprehensively. For your information, for the local tourist hotel tax you are required to pay you are entitled to a BODO card which gives you free travel on most buses and trains over a huge area. The public transport system is excellent and the hotel is just a short walk from the main bus and train station. The self service breakfast gives you a good selection to start your day, there is a restaurant also on site but I didn’t use it. The bar was good with the barman able to knock up a multitude of cocktails,, from what I witnessed. My room was spacious, clean and comfortable and perfect for me. There was a small fridge also where you could store some food and drink. There is car parking available for a fee, I'd advise informing them when you book but it is a reasonable charge in my opinion. There are also garages that can be booked, I only became aware of this on arrival and seeing cycle tourists storing their bicycles in there. Right by the promenade for pleasant walks and easy access to numerous restaurants it is an ideal choice in my book. Would I stay again? Without doubt.

The stay was nice, older room that had a few quirky features. The location was great and staff was very friendly. Difficult to take a shower the way the shower head was facing, but it is an old building. The pillows were unusable, they were gigantic.

Our stay was short and sweet. Lovely hotel and accommodations for sure. The service was not as lovely. Unfortunately, the staff was not very friendly at the front desk, did not mention our included breakfast so we missed it completely, and the bartenders made us feel as if we were personally inconveniencing them. Otherwise, a very nice hotel.

Nice but small

Great location, this nice hotel has great staff, a good restaurant and friendly bar. Only negative was size of bed and bathroom, I’m not a fan of showers over baths with curtains, however this did come with air con (much needed in summer here in Friedrichshafen)

I liked the location of the hotel close to town and to the water. I wonder if they could have had a more selective dinner menu. I thought that the items on the menu was overpriced compared to the places in town and by the water.

I arrived early and I could keave my luggage so I could go to the Zeppelin museum. Staff were great, the room was really nice and the place has such a nice ambience. The breakfast was superb. What a nice stay.

Great Location for Lake Constance

Great hotel and well placed for the main central area and exploring the wider lake attractions. Check in was strange and we were advised we could only book a parking space for part of our trip but they couldn't tell us where it would be till the next day? Actually parking outside the hotel was fairly accessible and reasonably priced so this was not a big issue. Hotel was quiet during our stay and rooms were comfortable and well appointed. We didn't have breakfast or use the restaurant but the food looked pretty good? Would stay again if we were back in the region.
