Nice extra touches

Conveniently located to the lake. The breakfast staff was absolutely delightful. Parking was easy and I appreciated the water machines to refill water bottles. They also provided drinks and candy.

A Hotel without the little luxuries.

The central hotel can best be described as 'Functional'. Having stayed in many of the other hotels in Friedrichshafen over the past 25 years this hotel was the most basic which was not reflected in the price. There is no bar & the hotel is unattended after 8pm in the evening. My room was easily the smallest I have ever stayed in a hotel in Germany although the bathroom was a decent sized & up to date. On a positive note the breakfast room & indeed breakfast itself was good & up to scratch.

Basic Hotel convenient for the center of Friesdrichshafen. Nothing wrong at all...I arrived late and left very early but no complaints at all for what it provided.We close to Lukullum which is a very good German restaurant..

Nice cosy hotel

The hotel was in a quiet location and a short drive to the city centre of Friedrichshafen. About 30mins drive to Lindau. The lobby had free drinks for the guests which was a surprise to my friends and I. However, do note that there is no elevator available and there is a flight of stairs to reach the rooms.

Good base for exploring Friedrichshafen

I was visiting an exhibition at the Messe and travelled to Friedrichshafen by ferry. I wanted a hotel within walking distance of the harbour for my early morning departure. The hotel was comfortable and very clean and the breakfast was fine.

Excellent Hotel for the value

We booked two rooms the day before check in so we could be staying closer to our conference, and were very happy with everything. We came in late in the evening (around 10:30) but the owner was waiting up for us - something I've found rare in a lot of European hotels - and quickly got us checked in and into our rooms. There was no air conditioning, and though the night was hot the room was well ventilated and we were provided with fans anyway, which cooled down the room considerably. Breakfast was light but great, and the service could not have been better, especially considering the low price. Location is only about a 5 or 10 minute walk from the lake and downtown areas, and 10 minute drive from the Messe and Airport. I'd definitely stay here again.

Very nice stay

I travel to Friedrichshaften frequently on business. This hotel was nicely situated but not right in the middle of town.The staff were freindly and helpful and the room size was very good. It was a little expensive but I did travel in high season. I will definately consider it again the next time I travel to this part of Germany. Overall a good experience.

Really Nice Extra Touches

We booked this hotel because it was reasonably priced and had good reviews, however I have to admit when we arrived we were a little unsure as the outside looked a little downbeat especially as they were doing work on some of the rooms. However, we couldn't fault it, the man who checked us in was very friendly. There were small packets of sweets on the bed and free mini chocolate bars and drinks (even beer) in the reception area that you could help yourself too. Extra little touches that are not normal but very much appreciated!

A good all round three star hotel

The hotel only provides bed and breakfast, both of which were very good. The general approach to the hotel is a bit confusing as the entrance is up a flight of steps to the back door. There is a front door but this was never used. The location is very convenient, about 15 minutes from the station and about 40 minutes from the harbour. I enjoyed my stay and would go again. Friedrichshafen is a functional town rather than an interesting or exciting one.but it has good rail connections to other, more interesting places
