Welcome to New Beginnings by Cedar Cross Cabin Rentals, LLC. This log cabin was recently finished, new construction. Please be aware that some of the outside ground work is ongoing or maybe freshly installed upon arrival.
Our log home is nestled in the convenience of the town of French Lick within the charm of mature trees. The cabin boasts 2 inviting bedrooms, each with cozy log queen sized beds. Guests enjoy 2 bathrooms, including a jetted bathtub and a refreshing tiled shower in the master bathroom. The peaceful living room welcomes guests home with a gorgeous electric fireplace. The main level living room along with the basement game room both offer sofa beds, perfect for extra guests or relaxing downtime. Central heating and air conditioning provides comfort throughout. Whether unwinding after a day of adventure or working remotely, this phenomenal cabin provides a perfect balance of rest and productivity.
This log cabin was built for convenience and relaxing. Enjoy balcony rocking chairs while watching the Polar Express pass by the lower side of the property. Relax while watching the squirrels play in the many trees on the property.
Need adventure? The French Lick Resort and Casino are only a short distance. Partake in local dinning, the rich history of the area, explore the Eighth Wonder of the Word at the West Baden Springs Dome, pet exotic animals at the Wilstem Wildlife Park, make a splash at Big Splash Adventure, taste the local wine at the French Lick Winery, or enjoy a peaceful ride on horseback or by carriage.
We are non-smoking. We do not allow pets.
For your safety and the security of our cabin, there are smartlock doorbell cameras located at both the main front entry door and the basement French doors. These devices record video and audio when motion is detected. They monitor outward toward the porch areas and front driveway. They will track with the door as it swings open and closed. There are absolutely no cameras installed inside of the cabin.

Cedar Cross Cabin was the perfect stay. I’ve traveled all over the world, and this was probably the nicest single-family rental I’ve ever experienced.The cabin feels almost brand new, so everything was spotless. The complimentary bottle of local wine and snacks were a thoughtful touch. When they say it sleeps eight, they truly mean eight comfortably—with four full-size beds, including two pullout beds that aren’t squeezed into a single room, plus two spacious, beautifully maintained bathrooms.The location was excellent as well. You get the peaceful cabin experience without feeling remote, and we were even able to walk to downtown.Overall, it was a wonderful stay for my family, including two of us who traveled from Florida—and even our grandfather, who is hard to please!

This was a very beautiful and well managed place. Everything was as it is listed and there were many little tings that are huge: a complimentary bottle of wine, bottled water, snacks, linens and blankets and everything you need for a great stay. It is in a private area, but yet close enough to get here you want to go in the area also. Communication with the owner was superb! We look forward to next time!
