We rented this beach house for our sons, senior prom for he and his friends to stay. The Beachhouse was really cute, very clean easy access to the beach great experience.

Great spot, Needs Some Work

When I checked in, the front door knob completely fell out. I asked someone to come and fix it or for some compensation for the safety issue, but it was never addressed. Other than the water coming out of the faucet being brown (I don't blame them since its a beach house, just generally kind of gross), the house was good.

Review.

The location and the size of the house was great but it needs a really good deep clean. The post said games which we could never find and the tv in the living room never worked. My kids were excited about the hammock that was in the pictures but that was not there. Also if you’re not gonna have closets then there needs to be dressers in the bedrooms.

I’ve had better

Unfortunately I have to leave a negative review due to lack of cleaning and communication with property management. Upon arriving approximately 8pm we had to use flashlights to climb the stairs due to a light being out on the staircase to the home. Inside the home we noticed our socks turned black from walking on the floors in the first 15min. No phone # is provided with the management company, after requesting, they ended up calling me and it seems like a company located outside the country. Asked them to send housekeepers the following day. They did come while we were out for the day, but same crumbs and hair were still on the floors. The lightbulb did get replaced. Washing machine was unusable due to being rusted and chucks of debris found in the bottom of the tub. I wasn’t able to send pictures to Managment or text because VRBO doesn’t accept heic pictures from cell phones. I gave up at that point. Never got to do laundry. House overall is in rough condition, lots of dings in the walls, damaged furniture and fixtures. As an owner of several STR’s, I was surprised as this is being professionally managed.

Quick Family Visit

Nice, quiet place for a group

We stayed here a few times while settling a family estate in Lake Jackson. It was perfect for our group of 5 adults with only 1 couple. We had enough room both to socialize and for each of us to have privacy. It was clean and quiet each time. Very close to the Gulf for quick morning walks along the coast.

Lovely beach getaway

We had a delightful stay! With 5 adults - 1 couple and 3 singles - there was an ideal amount of space. So close to the ocean we could hear the waves crashing and smell the salt air. Being off the main road it was quiet and restful at night. Everything was clean and comfortable. We hope to be back some time.

Great location!

The house is beautiful, nice and clean and just a very short walk to the beach! 1 block from a surf shop also! Had an amazing time and can’t wait to go back! Host was very nice and kept in touch as needed.

Overall an ok place

This home accommodated our family very well. The host was very responsive and checked in with us to make sure everything was ok. I was a bit was the cleanliness. The general surfaces were fine, but it. It could use a deep clean. The cabinets, baseboards, blinds, etc were dusty and splattered with food, etc. I’m a little picky about cleanliness, so this may not bother everyone. Most of the neighborhood is just fine, but the house next door is very run-down, just to be aware.

Family getaway

Our family enjoyed our stay at this beautiful beach house. Check in was a breeze and Russell is a very attentive host. The house was clean and spacious enough for our large group. Our trip was scheduled only a week after hurricane Beryl, so it was a bit sad to see some of the damage to the area firsthand. The internet didn’t seem to work during our stay but it’s understandable considering the circumstances, as many in the area were still without power. The mosquitos were definitely a nuisance, limiting our outdoor activities but that was also out of our host’s hands since it’s what commonly happens after getting lots of rain. Nonetheless, my family had a great time and we made the best of the trip.

Great beach getaway!

This was a wonderful property for our family of 5. We came in town for a wedding in Angleton. Everything was wonderful! The only thing I wish I had know was that there aren’t any closets. We had lots of suits and dresses that needed to be hung up. We managed with the hooks in the bathroom, but I should have requested a rack. Beautiful house and great location!
