Its unique charm captures a modern farmhouse feel, next to the heart of historic Fredericksburg! We are nestled between downtown Fredericksburg and the battlefields; you will find that getting to local attractions is an easy drive. Additionally, we are within easy driving distances to numerous other attractions. I offer the convenience of self check-in/check-out. An informational book and area guide is located at the entry table and includes local information, attractions, and our list of “favorites”. I am available for questions via email or text, but otherwise I will leave you to enjoy the space! We are located down a private road. Rest assured that your time in Fredericksburg will be whatever you’d like it to be! Loved everything about our stay in the Farmer’s Cottage at King’s Crossing. The check in process was the easiest ever. We really appreciated the location. End of the road privacy and seclusion yet close to everything we needed with easy access. Hosts were easy to communicate with and very responsive.

I stayed in this area to have access to historical sites. This is a very private site yet offers easy access to Route 3 (a busy commercial district) as well as to key Civil War sites, nearby Mott's Run Park--a great hiking site recommended by Sarah--and downtown Fredericksburg. The house itself was welcoming and well outfitted.
