The cabin was great! Clean and exactly as advertised. And the location was so close to Frankfort it was perfect for me and my dogs! I would definitely stay again

Cute cabin

Our family of five, three teenagers, and two dogs enjoyed the location of this house. Perfect place for a relaxing vacation close to many dog friendly beaches.

Perfect little getaway

The cabin was so cute and cozy. Everything was super clean and linens on the beds were fresh and clean. Would definitely recommend this place and will probably go back again

Crystal lake cabin in the woods

Loved our short stay, the warmth and smell of the knotty pine and cedar interior is pure Michigan! Bed was comfy, living space was cozy for watching a movie and relaxing. Will definitely recommend.

Quiet, relaxing weekend

We enjoyed our stay. The cabin is comfortable and offered the perfect amount of space for our family of 6 and our puppy. The surrounding area is quiet and beautiful. Crystal Lake is gorgeous and the neighbors are friendly. We can’t wait to return.

My dog and I loved The Cabin. Very cozy and comfortable. And well positioned for all the things we wanted to do.The manager, Jean was very helpful when I couldn’t figure out how to turn on the furnace. She was always there for any problems or questions that I might’ve had.Highly recommended…

Rustic, quiet and nice

The place was rustic but nice. We did have to shovel our way in, the snow on the walk was fairly deep and slippery. Enjoyed our stay. VRBO always has a lot of charges that add on to the listed cost per night that are kind of annoying.

Cozy Retreat

Spent 3 days on a personal retreat in the quiet. Everything was so cozy and comfortable. Was joined by a friend on the last day and had a blast. Although small, the cabin has a very practical layout and is a great gathering place. I would love to return!

Nice cabin in the woods

We enjoyed it. Wish we could see Crystal Lake better but it was nice. It’s on a hill. I was glad I had a truck to come up driveway.

We really enjoyed our stay. The cabin was lovely, and it was nice to have some board game options to get away from the Internet for a while and enjoy each other's company. The cabin was spacious and close to Frankfort so we could enjoy both Lake Michigan and Crystal Lake. Crystal Lake is beautiful. Once we figured out how to get down to the dock, we loved the peacefulness of sitting out there and looking at the crystal clear water. It was really nice too to be able to bring our dogs with us. I would definitely stay in this cabin again if we came back to Michigan.

Charming, cozy cabin!

I came up north for work and stayed here with my dog. It was perfect! Winter rates fit my budget. Comfortable bed, nice shower. You can see Crystal Lake through the trees from the big front windows. Everything was very clean and I enjoyed the ambiance of the gas fireplace. Frankfort and Beulah are both close by. I love old cabins and this one provided for a lovely stay. I decided to add a night and Eric made it very easy. I would definitely return.

Delightful, clean log cabin in quiet location

Crystalaire cabin is a delight. It is cozy and comfy inside. The kitchen is well stocked with all kinds of appliances and utensils. The bathroom has plenty of towels and shampoo/conditoner/etc. plus a hair dryer. We stayed in the winter and really enjoyed that we saw pretty much nobody else the whole time - no neighbors and no traffic on the road. It's close to Crystal Mt. Ski Resort, Lake Michigan and Point Betsie Lighthouse. We couldn't get the cute fireplace to light the first night. Jean, the property manager, got a handyman over there the next day so we enjoyed the warm living room with a sweet fire after that. We would love to stay there again if we get the chance.

Get Away

I was impressed with the cleanliness of the inside of the cabin. The outside furniture was dirty. The picture of the cabin online did not match the actual cabin. There was supposed to be a trail to the lake. I could not find it. I have learned that seasonal view of the lake means, you can see the lake when all of the leaves have dropped.
