Beth & Graham welcomed us warmly upon arrival and the cottage on the farm was perfect for our 3 day 'get away'. We loved Wanganui and visited the cafes, galleries, nature reserves and gardens and left revitalised. Thank you Beth and Graham for creating such a lovely 'home away from home' and environment.

The peace and quiet of the countryside was lovely but still not far away from the city. Hosts were very friendly, beds very comfortable and everything we needed plus was supplied.

Awesome place to stay

Loved staying here, even tho it was only for one night. Lovely host, great spot, and incredibly well appointed cottage. If you’re here during winter the fire is lovely. Would highly recommend.

Wonderful stay in the Cottage

Beth was a wonderful host for our get away to Whanganui to see Paloma Gardens. The cottage was cozy and warm with the fire on and the eggs and other treats were a lovely addition. Great communication and very accommodating. Such a peaceful place to stay, highly recommend.

We were road tripping around the North island so we only got to stay one night in the house but wished we had more! the house was beautiful, the owners were very friendly, and the town was lovely. We greatly enjoyed our stay, it was our favorite place we stayed on the 2 week trip

Absolutely amazing!

We stayed at Magnolia Cottage for 2 nights with our 3 children and enjoyed it very much. Beth is so nice and took care of all the small details we could possibly think of. We enjoyed the fireplace, the breakfast, the view from the house and of course the cute dogs :) Highly recommended and if we travel to the area again we'll definitely be back.

Rural Bliss

Beth and Graham provide a lovely cottage, with all the home comforts you could need. Private, sunny and warm. Welcomed with home baking, fresh farm eggs and other goodies that we enjoyed for breakfast. Dry firewood ready and great seating inside and out. the rural view was peaceful and beautiful. Comfortable beds and thoughtful decor and touches made a homely environment. Outstanding hospitality Thank You for your thoughtfulness.

Vintage weekend stayed at Fordell
