Great spot for a family get away

We had an excellent stay and Andy was a super easy host. The location was hard to beat! This was a good spot for groups with kids- walkable to the beach and easy to get everywhere else with a car. The pool was everyone's favorite part!

We had a long weekend for my mother in law’s birthday and we enjoyed our stay! Great location on folly beach. We would definitely stay here again!

Great house and Host

The house is right across the street from the beach access and really close to everything you could want. Andy is a great host and we found that the house was equipped with everything we needed and more.

Family Christmas Vacation

We had a fantastic time during our stay at Fishers Folly. Andy the owner was very kind, helpful, and fast to respond. Our family of 10 loved every minute. The large dining room tables were perfect for family dinners and board games. Easy access to the beach and the shops along Folly Beach. We will definitely be back.

Great location!

We were very excited for our stay in Folly Beach! The location of this house is great - steps to the sand! The pictures were a little outdated as far as the inside was concerned. The bathrooms had some black moldy caulking but owner was very prompt in getting it cleaned. Unfortunately, there were no dressers in bedrooms and not all bedrooms had a mirror. The indoor seating wasn't very comfortable and the couch was very small for the house - couldn't fit more then 2 or three people - hard with 10 people! The outside patios were lovely! Ocean view and breezes on the upper deck and screened in lower patio great for dining outdoors! Pool was very nice, although got a little hot due to the warm and sunny days! Putting green was fun. Host was very amenable to listening to our concerns and responded promptly and took care of things! We enjoyed the proximity to the beach!

Location was AMAZING. Exactly what we wanted - steps from the beach and amazing views. The pool in the backyard was perfection (pool was very warm but I run cold so I didn't mind). Now for the not so great..- There was only one roll of TP per bathroom even though the host insisted there were more (we could not find them). We ran out of most by day 3 and had to share one roll between multiple bathrooms.- There were no extra trash bags. The host said they were under the kitchen sink but they weren't. We checked every single trash can since sometimes they are stored at the bottom, and we found one small trash bag in one of the bathrooms.- No coffee filters. Host said they don't keep them in stock which isn't a huge deal but I thought it was strange given they provided a coffee pot that requires them. There were plenty of coffee pods but we were 10 ladies who drank lots of coffee so wanted to brew full pots.- Cleanliness: The bedrooms and bathrooms were clean minus sand on the floors in the lower level bedrooms, however the walls and ceilings were filthy. Bugs smashed all over the place. Overall, I'd say it was an OK stay. You can't beat the location, and we had a great time. Just too many inconveniences with the house to give any more than 3 stars.

Thanksgiving Week Family Trip

Fisher's Folly was just right for our group with bedrooms and space. The large tables were perfect for dinners. The views were so pretty. We enjoyed sitting on the patios. Every morning we would walk along the beach searching for shells and shark teeth. We rented a Golf Cart for the week (found the info from the house book link we received before our trip) from Folly Beach Golf Carts and they were very nice to deal with. We would use it to go into town to grab stuff from Bert's Market or the kids would go to Center Street Coffee for some specialty drinks and pastry. Great little stores and restaurants in town too. Charleston is close by so we did a Ghost Tour with Old South Carriage Co. one night which was so much fun. Another day we just walked along Kings Street and checked out all the local stores. Although the weather was crazy this time of year, we still were able to do a lot and we all had a great time! Couldn't get an Uber to the airport, but found Cool Cab Folly Beach. Don't hesitate to use them. They were great communicating with us and reliable. Andy was very responsive to us when we arrived in South Carolina. He was very helpful. Thank you. If you stay here, don't forget to leave Andy & Lauren a note in their guestbook. We loved Folly Beach and we loved Fisher's Folly.
