Lovely chalet with a beautiful view.
Liz was a lovely host, she contacted us prior to our arrival to let us know that the tub is wood powered and that we can purchase wood from her at 8GBP a box. In the end we opted not to because the tub would need 2 hours to be heated.
When we arrived at the property, the wifi was not working, and didn't end up working during our stay. Understandably, we stayed on a weekend so it would have been more difficult for the wifi to be fixed. There was also a weird beeping noise that we couldn't figure out, but overall it didn't hamper our stay too much.
The actual chalet is wonderful. It is spacious with two couches in the living area, with a full kitchen. The top oven did smoke a bit while preheating, but the bottom oven worked fine. There was lots of room to maneuver in the living spaces.
One down side is that there aren't plugs on one side of the bed. The bed itself isn't the most comfortable, and if were staying longer it might have been a bigger issue, but for our length of stay it was mostly fine.
Overall, given that the wifi issue and the beeping noise seem like isolated incidents, we would definitely recommend staying here!

Lovely stay
We had a lovely stay, and everything in the chalet was fine however we only stayed for two nights. I would say there are a couple of areas of the experience which can be improved further. The bed and pillows aren’t comfy, we have both left with neck pain, a mattress protector and new pillows would go a long way. The top oven smoked when preheating so we had to avoid using it. Nice view and good location, would have benefited with directions to the spot by the river which is pictured in the ad. Overall this was a nice stay in a good location which could easily be elevated with some simple changes.

What a fabby wee place to stay.
It was perfect. Well equipped, comfortable, clean, spacious & quiet.
Was literally everything we were looking for.
The log fired hot tub was brilliant.
And it was only a short drive to Elgin for shops, restaurants etc.
Lovely couple of days away, we'd highly recommend.
