Family Reunion Success!

We had an amazing experience and the house was the perfect setting for our extended family. The large gathering places inside and out were perfect for meals and games. Each family loved the suites with some privacy and their own bathroom. We expected to spend more time on the water but the kids and teens loved the house so much that we spent lots of time in the game room, theater, and yard. The views of the lake and mountains were astounding- a bonus was visits by a moose, rabbits, and deer that we could see from the deck. I've never had a VRBO that was so well stocked and the host was very responsive. Highly recommend!

Fantastic Stay for Mother-in-law's 90th Birthday

We found 48 blood relatives to gather for a birthday party. From her brother to her 20 great grandchildren. House was perfect. The great room opened to a great deck. Plenty of spaces inside and out for all ages. Nearby Bear lake is beautiful-provided great water fun. I'll be back when I turn 90!

Exceptional property for large family reunion

Every five years our children and their children gather with us for a 22 person family reunion. We have five families including ourselves ages 7 to 74 and we have been to major beaches, to coastal Maine, and now to this amazing property in Fish Haven Idaho. This home is maintained head and shoulders above all the others where we’ve stayed. Incredibly appointed spaces and extremely well stocked kitchen. Comfortable “real” beds (not pull outs or futons) with comfortable linens for every family member. Cousin and college kid bunk rooms. Private bathrooms for every family. We cooked a lot, enjoyed the gorgeous weather and views of the lake and warmed our toes by the firepits at night. We conducted our family Olympics in the backyard and played a ton of basketball foosball and ping pong. The rec spaces are generous and suit all ages. We checked all the boxes for outdoor recreation, atvs, fishing, wake boarding, sea doos, kayaking and swimming. Some snuck in a side trip to the Tetons. The lake is like no other and though we cooked a lot of our meals the local fare and ice cream is excellent. We will gladly come back if logistics permit in the future.

50th Wedding Anniversary

This property is very large and lots of room. We had all 31 family members with us and celebrating our 50th wedding anniversary. Every family had their own room, bath room, and attached 2nd bedroom that could sleep two kids or more. This property is well maintained. Not very many wanted to go home so soon either. Thanks Bob our host.

Heaven on Earth

The home was beautiful and well kept. We had a large family reunion and spent time on side-by-sides, ATVs, swimming, fishing, boating, jet skiing, watching movies, playing games and just hanging out together. We loved the view on all sides of the home and enjoyed making smores and visiting in the teepee. Thanks for sharing the home with us.

Most incredible stay

I held a women’s retreat at Glenn Haven with 23 women, and we had the best time! The house and location are even more beautiful than the pictures! Everything in the home is labeled, making things very easy to find. It is completely stocked with everything you need for your stay. The backdrop of Bear Lake created the perfect environment for our worship time and the tipi allowed us to have an intimate last evening there. We left some camp chairs and pool noodles for the next crew to enjoy at the private beach and an extra coffee maker for those that like a little more caffeine:-). Bob was the perfect host answering all my questions leading up to our stay, and the caterer he recommended was amazing!! I wouldn’t change a thing about our stay here and can’t wait to come back!

Bear Lake Spectacular

This was an amazing house and property. We had a so much fun enjoying the lake and views and fresh mountain air/scenery!!!!!!! The only thing we lacked was more time to enjoy it all!!

Great stay

The house was beautiful and very large. It was very comfortable for our family and my parents 50th anniversary. The house was incredibly clean and updated. There was no icemaker and you have to take the trash down to the corner but otherwise it was a flawless stay.

Perfect. The very best!

This home was absolutely perfect. We had our annual family reunion here and it catered to every age. Each family mentioned this was the best reunion (perhaps because the kids were all so well entertained here)! Every detail of the home was intentional. We loved the distance from other homes and felt it truly was a private “resort”. Bob is a great communicator and helpful. I’m glad we had a chance to snag 4 days before this new property gets discovered by the masses- it’ll be a hot spot in years to come I am sure!

Fun Haven

This home was perfect for our 30+ group, everyone were comfortable. Sunrises with a cup coffee on the patio, breath taking. Evening dinners with the cool breeze, and quiet evenings were simply fabulous. Young children will stay entertained in the fun playhouse. A couple issues with hot tub and theater , both repaired during our visit. Other minor issues grill, bbqs were not cleaned, but they are now! Overall the beauty that surrounds this home , and will meet all expectations for a fun family reunion.

THE. BEST. PLACE. EVER!

Words cannot express how heavenly our stay was! All was absolutely state-of-the-art and perfectly clean! Our family will always think of this home as a little bit of heaven on earth! The large spaces to gather, the kitchen, the theater room, the bedrooms, and fun cousin bunk rooms were just right! We had everything we needed to make precious memories together! Spectacular Lake View!!

Five-star review understates this haven – a perfect ten!! We searched for a spacious place for a family vacation with lots of grandkids. Whoa! Glen Haven was by far the best place we have ever been to. The kitchen was huge with everything that we needed – top of the line appliances. There are an amazing number of bedrooms – flexible for large groups – beds were very comfortable. Our grandkids played endless hours in the play kitchen – now they all want one in their homes!! They all want a Home Theater too!! We watched family movies in the evenings - better than going to a movie theater, if that’s possible. And we had a family get together in the teepee and made smores. Lots to do – beach at the private reserve, pool, backyard games, ping pong, basketball, caves nearby…and the Raspberry shakes in town are fantastic. Bob is the best host ever – incredibly responsive. We had an awesome family vacation and could not have stayed at a better place. We will miss sitting out on the deck in the evenings overlooking Bear Lake – memories for a lifetime.

Family Heaven

We had an absolutely wonderful time! The kids were in heaven with all the fun things this home provided! The kitchen and gathering areas were great! I would recommend one check all the special “lights” in the bunk room upon arrival! They are pricey to replace and sophisticated. The place was clean except we had to clean the garbage drawers under the garbage cans (filthy) and the pantry wasn’t wiped down nor vacuumed from the prior guests. Other wise we loved our stay!! Everyone wants to go back!

Great Place for Family Reunion

This place was amazing. The property had plenty of different activities for all ages. This fit our family very well, the accommodations were spacious and comfortable, and everything was very nice. Would definitely recommend to anyone!

Great venue for a family reunion

My children and their families, about 34 of us, fit comfortably into this lovely home. Everyone loved the setting for our reunion. Bob was very responsive on two minor needs that I phoned him about.

WOW - What an amazing place!

This property has everything you could ever want. You will have a hard time leaving at the end of your trip. The pictures and incredible video don't even do this property justice. Top quality furnishing, linens, and amenities. We loved having the private access to the beach. The club house pool and workout rooms were perfect. The ATV trials on the property and near are for sure a great bonus. Owners were great to work with and very responsive. We're already looking forward to going back. This home is one you won't want to miss.

Amazing Bear Lake Getaway!!!

We had the best time at Glenn Haven!! It is a gorgeous home, perfect for large groups. We had a family reunion there last weekend and didn’t want to leave. Truly an incredibly welcoming and lovely home. The home is beautifully decorated and they’ve thought of everything. The view off the balcony was our favorite and has a huge glass door that opens for inside/outside living. There are private suites along with bunk rooms for the kids. The kitchen had everything we needed and more. We loved the large gatherings spaces, we didn’t feel cramped when we got all together (40 people in our group). We also loved the kids area downstairs with the ping pong table and darling slide/playhouse. The backyard was amazing and we played out there a ton; night games, playground, and water table. There’s also a cool teepee with a fire pit. It was too hot for us to light the fire, but the kids loved playing in there anyway. The host, Bob, was very responsive and helpful (like when we locked ourselves out of the pantry :)). He helped us out in a pinch (our other booking fell through) to get this reservation in the first place, which we can’t thank him enough. This place turned out to be perfect!! We’ll definitely stay here again. Thanks Snyders!!
