Yonca Lodge was absolutely wonderful. The staff was so attentive and kind. The beach is beautiful--we especially enjoyed watching the sailboats. Kids would love it, as they can choose between the pool and the sea. I loved eating outside, and the food was wonderful. My husband particularly appreciated the bartender. Many of the staff spoke English.

Pretty Place by The Sea

Yonca Lodge is a pretty place by the sea. It is green and eco friendly. Rooms are cosy with no vanity luxury. You can have your breakfast on sands at the beach. The place is quite and peaceful.

Fabulous place.

Amazing experience, i just loved the place. Rooms are very efficient and pretty the stuff is friendly and perfect. The garden is amazing with chickens and flowers and trees. Fabulous place, i ll go there Asap again.

Lovely little beach hotel

A little gem of a place and only 40 minutes from the airport. Right on the beach, but beautiful and peaceful with really helpful and attentive staff. A great place to relax and unwind.

Zen like gardens which were beautiful with many hammocks, swings, quiet corners to hang out in. Buffet Breakfast very good. Chickens and geese around which I loved.

Nice little alternative on the beach, give it a go it's delightful. Staff very attentive , especially Daniela who works really hard. Espresso machine, hammocks, home cooking, chill out zone and very nice cabins.

Wonderful peaceful place

We had the most wonderful stay here. There are only 14 rooms so it is never overcrowded. Rooms are simple but very comfortable with good bathroom, tv, tea and coffee facilities and complimentary toiletries. The most lovely , well tended gardens supply the kitchens. There are hens and chicks roaming around and a creek full of fish turtles and eels. A lovely pool to swim in.Then you come to the restaurant on the beach. A wonderful view of the sea and islands at every meal and if the weather is cool a glass summerhouse to eat in. Food is home cooked and there is complimentary afternoon tea every day.But best of all are the lovely lovely staff who cant do enough for you.

Amazing experience and food

We had an excellent experience at the Yonca Lodge. The staff are so nice and very accommodating. The pros for us were: amazing, fresh, food. The breakfast especially was something to look forward to, as well as the fresh fish for dinner. Location is so relaxing - on the beach, living among an incredible diversity of animals roaming free including chickens, roosters, frogs, cats, etc. The only cons were that we were there just before tourist season (mid-April), so the dinner menu was not elaborate. One other minor con was that there is a resort a few hundred meters away (club Majesty I believe) that played club music at night that we could hear in the distance. However, with earplugs it was fine to fall asleep. We would definitely recommend staying at the Yonca Lodge, and look forward to returning if we travel to the Fethiye area again in the future. P.S. The google maps location of Yonca Lodge is currently incorrect, so the hotel is difficult to find if using this software to locate the hotel upon first arrival.

Better for those with cars. Bad comments by staff.

Beautiful setting and beautifully decorated rooms. However, I wouldn't recommend it for people without cars because it's far from Fethiye town, Oludeniz, Calis Beach etc. There are no restaurants or shops nearby. Second, the shower was dangerously boiling hot. I burnt my hand testing the water. Finally, I complimented the waitress on the breakfast and she replied, "Be careful. You're getting fat!" Shocking experience. I won't be coming back or recommending this place

Lovely personal welcome when our taxi arrived. Very welcoming staff all very eager to help and all with brilliant English. Lovely afternoon tea on the beach!

Hotel Food for lunch and evening meals awful

The hotel rooms are good and clean,the bed comfortable.The gardens are beautiful.The pool is good and clean.The hotel has its own sandy beach with loungers underneath mulberry trees.To get to swim in the sea you have to cross a stretch of sharp stones so you need to have those rubber foot coverings otherwise it's a pain getting in and out of the sea.There is a pond full of terrapins,water snakes,thousands of frogs.And home to millions of mosquitoes which come out to bite at night so bring lots of protective sprays or cover up.300 yards either side of the hotel are two huge all inclusive hotels which start to play their rave music from 10pm through to the wee small hours of the morning so if you are a light sleeper you will need to keep your room windows closed.There is no little village that you can walk to in the evening for a drink in the local bars or choices of restaurants.You are stuck with the hotel food.The inclusive continental breakfast is brilliant, home made jams,fresh breads,eggs,salad,savory pastries,cereal, fresh fruit, nuts, juices.The lunch menu and evening menu read well but that's all that's good about it.We didn't try everything on the menu as we only stayed for a week but after the second day we wanted to go home! I had the set menu the first night, the 3 plate meze was okayish. the 3tiny fish by the time i picked all the bones out after 15minutes left me with 2spoonfuls of meat.Turkish pasta with cheese - boiled, fried pasta with 2spoonfuls of feta cheese

This hotel has a great location, is charming, and the staff, particularly Danielle are great. One thing they could improve is the food as the hotel is not real close to town. If you are interested in food, if that is important to you, and particularly turkish food,then take a cab or better yet donuts or bus into fetiye. They can probably do a burger and fries for you ok. Great place to kayak, paddle board ,or swim from.

Nice location, but...

After a long drive and arriving in darkness we were welcomed by the friendly and accommodating staff who quickly got us to our room and onto a beach located restaurant table. Service and location of this hotel are great but I was surprised at the interior of the room which seemed more hostel than hotel, as did the 'restaurant'. Breakfast was adequate with hot resulting in boiled eggs only but again it was great to have a table on the beach. The hundreds of chickens and smattering of ducks and geese meandering around the gardens do add to the rustic nature of this B&B, which is more what it needs to be addressed as than a hotel even though it has full hotel facilities. It just needs a good scrub and smarten up all round to command the prices it seems to be getting. Also no fault of the hotel but the guests that place their towels etc on cabanas AND sun loungers whilst going for breakfasts and walks are really out of order. The smallness of this hotel adds to that - with only a few very well placed cabanas they are well sought after but this reserving whilst not using approach is so immature and belongs to those who have ot had much in life. To summarise, small B&B with a great out of the way location.

Friendly and so relaxing

A gorgeous, little, family run hotel on a beautiful, quiet stretch of beach. The rooms are fairly basic (but immaculate and good value for money), so I think 3 star is probably the right rating, but everything else was 5 star. The pool was great, the staff were wonderful, and the grounds beautifully maintained. We spent most days lounging in the pagodas on the beach, with an occasional trip into Gocek (where we picked up the 12 islands boat tour) and Fethiye (eating at the fish market is a must). Overall, a fabulous holiday that was everything we hoped for.
