"This hotel seems to have taken a dive over the last 10 years. I don’t come to Dallas often but I’ve stayed here before and I feel like it’s really calm downhill. I always stay in the same wood paneled style room but this time there was visible water damage on the blackout blinds that you can lower. Like moldy. Also, the overflow drain on the bathtub came straight off and it was a jagged hole behind it and somebody’s contact lens came out of it. Also, they only had one towel and no washcloths in the bathroom and when we went to ask for more, they never came up. And nobody cleaned our room at all the two days that we were there. There was a light fixture in the ceiling in the bedroom that didn’t work from any switch. Just sad. This is an iconic building. I hope someone does something with it."
