We were charged over €500 for a room for two using Expedia for an online booking. We arrived to see that the room-tariff for exactly the same booking was only €49 for that same night. We had to pay upfront to secure the booking and the Expedia website stayed this was the only remaining room. When we checked in, we asked and were told there were many rooms empty and available for that night

Always a great stopover.

We stop regularly at this hotel when travelling from the UK to our home in France via Brittany Ferries service to Caen. This time, arriving at 22h45, our check-in was fast and welcoming, parking was easy, and our room spotless and newly refurbished. After a good night in the big comfortable bed, breakfast was ample and of good quality. We will be back!

Booked on recommendation from a friend. Great welcome by staff very helpful & they spoke English. Used as a stop after travelling back from Spain very close to Caen to get ferry back to Portsmouth

Excellent hotel

Checked in late and was greeted by a charming Receptionist (who spoke good English). It is perfectly situated for anyone arriving from the Caen ferry and needs to travel south. The hotel is modern, functional and clean. I will certainly use it again.

This is a great hotel. Ibis seems to have tweaked its formula and now there are great common amenities like games (pool and pinball), lounges and a 24 hour bar. It is in a typical edge of town location, but, being a small town it’s definitely walkable to the centre. The staff were friendly and some spoke excellent English. The hotel was new and well maintained.
