We did not use the hot tub at all, We are huge football people and there was only one TV in the living room. We did not cook at all, just coffee.. The kitchen was stocked with what was necessary. We had a little trouble with having hot water, but we made do. The driveway and road were very well maintained which we really appreciated since we have stayed other places that were so hard to access.

as described, very pastoral, but the yard had a lot of dog waste when we arrived. We cleaned up after our dogs but noticed that several neighborhood dogs came to visit everyday while we were there. Other than that, it was great. I would book again.

The house is a really nice older home. We loved the large deck with the hot tub, fire pit and seating, and outdoor seating for dining. The fenced in area was great for the dogs. They loved it there too.

The Good: The view is awesome and the back deck with hot tub and fire pit was our favorite part. Plenty of linens and towels provided. There is a large fenced yard. It's not far to town if you need to get groceries, but at the house you feel like you're away from it all.The not-so-good: There is a house next door with permanent residents with two large dogs. One of them was aggressively snarling with hackles raised at our small dog. We had to leave the gate closed because otherwise the large dogs kept coming into the yard. We tried to take walks on the road, but the neighbor made nasty comments about people staying in the vacation home. I hate to take stars off the review for this because it isn't the owner's fault, but it was a major damper on our trip. Also, the kitchen cabinets and dishes could use a thorough scrub.

Weekend Mountain Trip

My husband and our daughter stayed here for a chill 4th of July weekend. The back deck has a great view, with a large dining table, fire pit table, and a hot tub. It was lovely!

Perfect getaway

Took a trip with my cousin and my pup for a nice little mental health break. This house was perfect. Spacious, plenty of outdoor space, and gorgeous views. Host was very responsive and assisted promptly with anything that we had questions about. The hot tub and outdoor fire pit on the patio were a great addition.

Absolutely fantastic

Location was amazing and quiet. Barely any traffic at all up and down the mountain. Neighbors barely made a sound. The house was very cozy. 10/10 would recommend. Property managers could not have been any better. Best experience honestly

Fabulous Holiday Stay

This home had plenty of room for my family of six. Two of the six did daily runs down the side of the mountain, and along the roads and back. The rest of us walked it. Very quiet while we were there. Close to Asheville and Black Mountain.
