We absolutely loved staying here! The house was very clean and had everything we needed! There was a small hiccup with the internet but the hosts were amazing and got it fixed right away!

Beautiful property, had a great trip with family and dogs. Cabin is well maintained, clean, and kitchen is well stocked. They were very responsive and easy to communicate with. Property is in a great location, easy drive to surrounding towns while still being private. Would absolutely stay again!

Excellent property, secluded and quiet. The moose is real, and showed up during our visit. Very neat to see from the safety of the wrap around porch.

Happy Husky Hideaway

We had a wonderful stay at the happy husky hideaway. The views are spectacular, and we really enjoyed stargazing as well. The home is very well stocked and really cozy. I would definitely stay again.

Mountain Getaway

We enjoyed our stay at the happy husky hideaway while traveling around Colorado and will definitely be returning! The booking was easy and communication with the property manager was very easy and friendly. We hiked the Kite Lake trail with our Bernese Mountain Dog and took in all the beautiful views of the mountains. Thank you for the clean and amazing two night stay!

Great spot

We really enjoyed our stay at the Husky Hideaway. The cabin is a mile or so up a dirt road off the highway and set amongst aspen, fir, and pines. The views out of every window are really nice and the deck is great too. Very comfortable house with plenty of space. We would come back!

Beautiful Cabin in gorgeous setting

The Husky Hide a way is truly a dream. The cabin is very well taken care of and you are sure to feel refreshed and connected after your stay. The gorgeous wrap around deck allows for you to bask in the mountain sun and relax. Only 6 minutes from down town but you feel nestled in once at the cabin. We cannot recommend enough!

Absolutely recommend!

Great getaway, peaceful and secluded. Perfect for our family of 4 and 3 large dogs. A loft with a queen bed, a king size on the main floor, and another queen bed off the game room downstairs. Close to Fairplay for groceries, etc. Many nearby hikes of varying difficulties. The few questions I had at checkin were answered promptly and clearly. Easy checkin and checkout. Dog friendly but very clean. Would highly recommend!

Perfect cabin, perfect getaway

Happy Husky Hideaway is a beautiful large wooden cabin set on a hillside amongst the pine trees. The location is perfect to visit the many bars and restaurants in Breckenridge, Fairplay or Alma. The cabin itself is private but warm and inviting. It is very clean with comfortable beds. The kitchen is well equipped and it feels like a home away from home! The entertainment area on the lower level is an added bonus with a TV, pool table, dartboard and board games. The wrap-around deck will be the perfect place to spend warm summer evenings, relaxing and catching glimpses of the wildlife. We loved it and will definitely be back. Book it - you won't regret it!

What a wonder cabin in the perfect mountain setting with wonderful views! There were four of us including my two adult sons and we are all very comfortable. There's plenty of room , the kitchen is well stocked, the entertainment area downstairs is fabulous and I can't say enough about the quality mattress of the king bed . We were thrilled to learn the cabin had a whole house humidifier which is game changer given the elevation ! Happy Husky is a great find and you will not be disappointed!! The customer service and response from the management company was excellent.

Fantastic Mountain Getaway

We truly enjoyed our stay at the Happy Husky Hideaway. The check-in process was very smooth. The views of the surrounding woodland were gorgeous! We were pleasantly surprised by the sight of a moose walking through the property! The kitchen had everything that we needed including very nice LG appliances, which we appreciate since we prefer to prepare our own meals rather than go out. The beds and linens were very clean and super comfortable! This was our first time renting a pet-friendly property. We were impressed by how clean everything was. There is no evidence of pet hair or stains. It was nice to bring our pooch with us. It was a true mountain experience in a lovely, nicely decorated cabin. We highly recommend staying here!

Delightful getaway

We loved the location and the layout of the house. It has a deck wrapping around two sides of the house so that at any time of day there were comfortable options for sitting out there on the comfy aluminum-frame rocking chairs to breathe the cool mountain air and enjoy the quiet. Magnificent nighttime sky view from the deck. The inside was roomy and the floor plan, with a bed on each level, met our needs well. The kitchen was well outfitted with good cookware, appliances and utensils; we used the propane grill outside a lot. One nice touch was dog water bowl/food bowls. Big-screen TV and pool table on the ground level. Plenty of options for hiking nearby and for dog walking near the cabin on the property and on the neighboring roads. If you are coming from a lower elevation, be sure to build in some time to acclimate. We all felt the altitude and were able to take it easy for the first couple of days. The hosts were easy to contact and responded quickly when we had a question. Thanks for a great stay.
