Even though Nicky's Resort received an "excellent" rating at Orbitz (how did that happen?) it was old without any touch of class, at all. Furniture in smallish room was Salvation Army, 1985 vintage. Had to scrounge to find electrical power. No lamp at old desk with near-collapse desk chair. Have I mentioned anything "excellent" so far? Because I coudn't find one thing I'd call even good.

The equipment is very old here and the ice machine is not working at all. There is a nice restaurant right on the property that I believe serves meals morning noon and evening. But the room is very small and I find myself continually being shocked every time I walk across the floor. I don't know if there's a grounding issue in the room or what's going on.

Nice hotel

The hotel is just 2 miles from the Rocky Mountain Park entrance. The room was okay. It was clean and neat. It had a refrigerator and a microwave. The bed was clean and comfortable. They also have a pool, and some other amenities. Bit didn’t had a chance to try it. The hotel is not fancy. But worth the price.

The rates are the most reasonable in town! What a great deal and an even better room! This place is so clean and comfortable and the amenities are great! Theres a nice babbling brook to relax next to in the evening as well! Would return in a heart beat!

I recently stayed 6 nights at Nicky's and I loved my stay. It was affordable and very clean. The setting is serene and you need only step out of the parking lot and take a beautiful stroll along the river. My room was maintained with care and the check in was seamless. The electronic communications were clear and concise. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and I plan on returning and recommending. It is less than 3 miles from the RMNP Fall River entrance and about the same to downtown Estes . Perfectly located.

10/10 would stay here again! Absolutely perfect place for hiking up at RMNP! Room was clean and cozy and had everything you need for a short trip! The restaurant and bar attached to nicky’s was recommended by many locals! Can’t wait to come back!
