+ The bed is a queen and centered in the room. The corridors on each side of the bed are *narrow.*
+ This is a duplex in a neighborhood WITH NEIGHBORS; quiet hours 9pm-8am
+ Cleaning is super expensive here and I want guests to pay as little as possible. The cleaners offered a deal to keep the rates in the lowest third of homes this size, and I pass the savings on to you! Please start the dishwasher and a load of towels in the washer. It takes five minutes but saves the cleaners an hour, which saves you money!
+ 4pm or later checkin; 10am or earlier checkout. We can`t make exceptions because they are not insured by AirBnB.
+ No smoking, fire pits or parties + 4 guests MAX including infants and children as per town rental law + 2 dogs max w/ $125 pet fee. Fully fenced yard!
******* THANK YOU! ******* Onward!
Thanks for checking out the west apartment in my newly remodeled duplex, just a few blocks from downtown. It`s got 1 queen bed and a queen air mattress, sleeping a max of four (though two is the suggested limit). It`s super close to Lake Estes, so you can take a nice evening stroll as the sun sets.
My home is an ever-evolving arthouse and will for many years be a work in progress; our friend Wade, a celebrated local muralist, will slowly be turning the walls into gallery space for his black and white line drawings and murals of the animals and landscapes of the National Park. Not only will there be hung art, but he`ll be painting murals on the walls themselves.
The first mural is a 5` tall black and white eagle in the media room, which you can see in the photos.
The location of my place is perfect -- you can explore great restaurants, breweries and taco joints after you`ve hiked, skied or climbed all over Rocky Mountain National Park.
The park entrance is about 10 minutes away, and within blocks are ball fields, the event center, a local pump bike track, skate park, the rec center (spa, pool, basketball courts and weight room), and much more. My favorite brewery, Lumpy Ridge Brewing (partly by Wade, who also draws all the can labels) is just up the street.
You will love its cleanliness and bohemian feel. I recently renovated every surface, resulting in:
+ New paint and flooring throughout + New bathroom (shower, flooring, vanity) + Updated kitchen with new appliances + Fun lighting and eclectic accents throughout + A large smart TV with lots of streaming options, + Super fast WiFi with no dead zones
SLEEPING
My home offers a 1 cozy queen bedroom on the back side of the building (super quiet!) plus sleeping for two more on a queen air mattress.
EATING
There`s a small dining seating two between the kitchen and bedroom.
LIVING & ENTERTAINMENT
Media Room -There`s a brand new 4K smart TV with Roku in the media room. Log into your favorite streaming service. Netflix, Amazon Prime, Sling, Hulu, etc.
WiFi - My home employs a mesh WiFi network with no dead zones. A strong 600Mbps connection will allow you to stream and work without any issues.
LAUNDRY & COOKING
Kitchen - The kitchen has everything you need to cook, including a full stove and oven, fridge and freezer, and assortment of pots and pans. My brand new knives are sharp (dull knives are a pet peeve!). There are cutting boards, wine glasses, coffee mugs, and a drip coffee maker.
Laundry - The home offers a full size washer and dryer that you are free to use.
Guests have access to my home`s western apartment. It includes...
+ 1 bedroom + 1 bathroom + 1 media room + Living Room + Kitchen + Small dining area + Backyard
I have turned my listing management over to The Wolf Rentals; Nathan, Nancy and Matt will be your cohosts and primary points of contact.
The neighborhood is an up and coming district off Highway 7 and the home is a few blocks away from Lake Estes. The neighborhood features two breweries (Avant Garde and Lumpy Ridge Brewing Company), three great taco joints (La Cocina de Mama, our local Mexican market, and a great taco truck at the local lumber yard), a bowling alley, and a few pubs. You can walk a few blocks to the shores of Lake Estes, the local dog park, the Estes Park events complex, and much more.
NOISE
Events, loud music and noises, and parties are strictly prohibited. Please be respectful of your noise level so I can maintain good relationships with my neighbors and renters on the other side of the duplex.
NONPAYING GUESTS
Nonpaying/non-registered guests are not allowed on property.
NO AIR CONDITIONER
Estes has a mild mountain climate in the summers but from time to time it can get hot. Like nearly every other home in town, there’s no A/C. The cool evening breeze will cool the home down quickly.
MINUT
We use a Minut noise meter. It doesn`t record audio, but instead monitors decibel levels, temperature and humidity. This is for the safety of guests & to protect the home. It also serves to warn us about parties & prevent noise complaints from neighbors. It`s located on the ceiling in the living room.

The property was clean and welcoming. The fenced yard came in handy when our dog sitter bailed on us last minute. It was a last minute decision to spend time in Estes Park, so finding this place at such a decent price was amazing. Our host, Nathan, was so attentive and helpful in finding restaurants and things to do. Would recommend and consider staying here again if we have a small group, 4 people or less.

The house was very cozy and comfortable, exactly as it appears in the photos. The neighborhood is quiet and very conveniently located. We walked into town every day and you can also walk down to the lake very easily. There’s also a very nice dog park close by. The hosts were very accommodating and communicative. Prior to check in, they sent a link to a website with everything you could possibly want to know, including some fantastic recommendations for restaurants and cafes around town. Would definitely stay with them again!

Overall stay was great! The property is in a great location with many of the town’s attraction within easy walking distance. Our first day there the temperature was above average and with no ceiling fans the house was somewhat stuffy, but box fans were provided. Communication was superb and we would gladly stay again

The property is as pictured. It was plenty of space for two of us, a baby, and two dogs. A five minute drive from downtown Estes Park and about 20 minutes to the national park entrance. It was also conveniently located near Lake Estes, along with some other restaurants and breweries that we could walk to.

Cute place and comfortable
The inside space was very cute and living space was comfortable. We would have liked a bigger table in the dining room, there was only a small table with two chairs in the back room to eat our meals. Kitchen was well stocked with cooking pots and pans, lots of utensils and knives were sharp! Beds were comfortable and extra blankets were provided.
