Great location bad initial communication
Great property and will stay again. Only issue was check in. No initial communication, went to the property address only to have to com back down and go to the reality office in town. Then once we got that sorted they did not tell you how to gain access to the main door which was though another door. Thankfully Adam answered the phone every time I called. Was just a bit frustrating after a full day of traveling.

Very Unique Experience
Not your typical VRBO! It appears this property was owner occupied for decades (some very dated aspects) but then was recently renovated for renting out.
The good: New flooring, windows, fridge, microwave, & countertops. The amazing view from the top of the mountains. Having Elk literally roaming in the driveway. Good response to our concerns (see below)
The bad: No window coverings. Yes we are in the mountains, but still nice to have bedroom privacy from those houses below. The door leading from master bedroom to outside deck was broken off hinge. No screen door leading to main deck area (with no AC it would help cool main area). Shower in 2nd bath was very short and water does not drain very well.
The bizarre: If you have never used a Bunn coffee maker, do your research beforehand. Took us 2 days before we had hot coffee!! Apparently cleaning crew stopped dishwasher before cycle was complete causing it to beep every minute! We could not determine where the noise was coming from and even when we open and closed dishwasher it still continued. After a call to management, they shared the dishwasher needs to run a complete cycle before it will turn off!! Microwave appeared to be working (displayed time correctly) but would not allow us to enter. Appeared to be in child lockout mode???? No, another call to management and they shared last time this happened just unplug and plug back in again!!!
Again, very "unique" experience but sadly I cannot recommend for others.

Cozy Mountain Condo
Very nice place to stay. Be aware there is no AC, so it was a little stuffy in the afternoons, but cooled off nicely at night. There were plenty of fans available to help with this. The view was amazing!
